Happy anniversary on your 10 years lots 🎉 As always you are put together and well spoken. Beautiful hair & Beautiful presents. I'm never bored or think about cutting my locs. This summer will be 15 years for me. They are passed my back side. Again you are and inspiration ❤😊

Happy 10 plus years being loc'd! My half sister has been loc'd for 20 years. She cuts her locs every summer and they grow out to wherever they get during the rest of the year. This is how she keeps it interesting. Its not about length retention for her. I am 3 years almost on my loc journey and the weight of my shoulder length locs is what I love. I may keep my locs this length by cutting them annually too. We will see. Congratulations on the new baby too!
Thank you honey!! Yes I agree, after some time you just got to cut and shape it to keep it looking fresh. But whewww 20 years oh my!! Do you think you’ll keep your locs for decades?
Hi Natalie! I just started my loc journey today! I’ve watched several of your videos over the past few weeks in preparation. The only thing I’m nervous about is that I’ll regret getting them small instead of medium size. I really love the look of both so it was a tough choice. Otherwise I’m so excited for the journey and can’t wait to be fully loc’ed!
I had that same delimma when I started my microlocs. I established 212 thinking that I cold combine the small ones into larger ones. In fact I did combine 4 into 2 locs but the results are meh. The shape of the hair box for the combined locs is irregular comared with the other locs. The loc itself is a little fatter than its immediate neighbors. Because my locs are fat for microlocs they are not as easy to style as Sisterlocs. I am good with it because I don't really style my locs much. I have them trimmed around my face and they have grown pretty evenly every where else.. I love my fatty microlocs and probably would choose them again if I had to start over.,
Congratulations I’m super excited for you!!! I think the main thing is maintenance. I think smaller locs = higher maintenance. If you are prepared for that, it will be okay. ❤️🔥
Gorgeous Locs. 13 years for me in October❗️👑🙌🏾
Whew 13!!! Wow did you know you were gonna keep it that long from the start?

@@nattyannThank you so much. I don’t think I’ll mind the maintenance. I know I want versatility with styling so that’s why I went with small.🩷
