This is exactly what I wanted to see today ❤ such a professional result. But if I talk about me I'd never use 40 on roots because it hurts a lot . I think I can achieve the same with 20 vol kept in a lil longer .
So how did you mix the 2 colors? Like in a bowl or did you put all of the dye in the same bottle?

With hot roots, the hair color near your scalp is usually redder, and can appear orange. Hot roots occur because the heat from your scalp causes the colour at the roots to develop faster than the colour on the mid-lengths or ends. This can lead to a lighter colour result at your roots than the rest of the hair. Hot roots can also occur if you lighten your colour.
Honestly 40 developer is the best it gets the job done only with one application and never damaged my hair

I prefer using 40 volume as well and people always give me a bad time with why am I using that high of a volume when it actually lightens my hair faster like you said so I can get it done way quicker, but it sucks that they don't allow me to buy 40 volume developer anymore I'm going to see if I can get it off at Amazon or something
Yes !!! Also since my natural hair is very dark anything under 30 will not lighten it up the way i want. 40 does it for me every time and if I use anything under 40 I get upset because it’ll leave a weird shade, when I do 40 it’s perfect, I’m just really careful with the time. It works every time, I still have hair 😁 every hair Is different
@@Claudettesilver300 how long did it take for you to apply everything? And when you tried it with 30 volume, how long did you had to wait? You got the exact result iwant but i work pretty slow so im afraid 40 will just burn my scalp

Hi ! Thanks for watching. I used both colors in the bottles they came in. They shades are very similar so they blended in perfectly.

Hiii, yes I mixed both dyes together. I kept each color in their original bottle and just randomly applied all over the hair.
