I wonder if there is any video recording of Nadja playing Shostakovich? A few years back I had tickets to hear her play Shostakovich in Florida, but was struck with a heart condition the night before. It's always been a heavy regret that I didn't get to see that

Most like to hear her not only for her amazing technical ability and her courage to put herself into her music...Few are technically good enough to reach the level of playing that she reaches so easily due to hours and hours of work she has done to be able to play with her heart and soul for the people...
I was extremely fortunate to meet this beautiful talent many years ago, at my aunt Rosie's luncheonette in Brooklyn. She is family. Thank you to those of you that appreciate the talent. The others, not so much.

Heart on sleeve intense. Intonation has a lot of rough edges and she goes crazy with her tempos too. But the audience enjoyed it, and so did I.
