    I like the way you describe your compositions. Fujicolor C200 is one of my favorite films. I think it is well balanced and is easy to get the right color and exposure while scanning. I think it is even better in sunny weather.

    Great video, as usual, Teo. I always enjoy your photo walks and looking at the photos that come from them. I can only imagine that holding an umbrella and shooting at the same time would be a real pain. Have you considered using rain sleeves for your camera? They're fairly cheap and easy to come by, and easy to use.

    • @teocrawford
      @teocrawford  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sweet, thank you!🤗 Yeah it's a bit annoying at times haha :D I actually have one of those but wrapping my Pentax in that would make everything even harder to work with, especially looking through the analogue viewfinder, therefore I just left it at home for this shoot. I do like to use it with my digital camera, because the LCD makes the process easy even with a sleeve :)

    • @teocrawford
      @teocrawford  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Depends. The initial conversion usually isn't satisfactory, therefore I change things with NLP's own editing panel, which then mostly gets me the results I'm looking for. I believe however that NLP isn't thought to deliver a perfect conversion without any tweaks in the first place so overall I'm happy with the results :)

    are the photos edited? or directly from the camera? when I shot on the Fujicolor c200 the colors were much less contrasty and the photos were not as detailed, what did I do wrong?

    • @teocrawford
      @teocrawford  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's hard to say when considering the steps in the scanning process... they're corrected but not strongly colour graded. I made a video explaining this a while back: th-cam.com/video/FcvJhkMzsNM/w-d-xo.html
      If you had a lab scan it for you, then they might have done it that way, not you. The labs just edit the photos how they see fit, whereas when you scan yourself you have full control. If this is a bit unclear I would recommend that video above🤗🙌🏼

      I'm using a Pentax K1000 here - it feels amazing and does it's job nicely, however there are two points in which I see room for improvement: Firstly the longest shutter speed on the dial is 1sec. I have often been in the situation of wanting more, which is technically possible in Bulb mode with a release cable, but so far I haven't gotten around to getting a release cable🤷🏻‍♂️
      Secondly, it does not have a self timer. I've used a Mamiya/Sekor 1000TL, which does have one and I found it pretty useful :)

    hi! can you tell me what app have you been using to what I assume was measuring light ?

    You could work with some editing and maybe turning down the highlights. You would get more detail in the sky and it wouldn't look so blown out

    it's super weird to see how you are shooting.
    Looks like you a picking comfortable where you just slap a tripod on the ground and take the shot. Not choosing the composition yourself.

    • @teocrawford
      @teocrawford  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's probably due to the editing... I actually spend quite some time adjusting the tripod, but that footage is boring to look at and it drags out the video, so I cut it :)
