Oh my goodness, I can't imagine not being able to yard sale all year and I can't imagine it being in the 40's either!! We are sweltering done here, having to run our a/c on 74 😅 how fun to meet a subbie! Great finds on the cinderella bowls.

Yeah it kinda feels like a longer “spring” which is nice - to not go straight into heat and wildfire smoke. It’s also why I don’t start a garden until June lol.

Thought I'd check just one more yard sale, even though it was almost closing time. Pulled up and the person was loading up the side of the road with free items. I took note and headed into the garage --- all the glass was free! Well, filled up my car between the two and am now going through to see what I got! So far a signed handblown art glass bowl, wood handled flatware, a box of doilies and lace, a crock (type still to be determined), a mini ceramic Christmas tree with a base...oh, my!

So far here estate sales are about the same or more expensive than thrift stores. I have to explore auctions a bit more

Estate sales are my favorite especially the last day, I wish they would be open for longer. Most are done by noon and it makes it difficult to get to more than a few. Yard sale are nearly done for now because it's getting too hot here in AZ. I haven't been to a thrift store for a while because I have so much that needs listing but I can't miss the estate sales😊.

Ditto ! Estates sales- Thrift stores ( Prefer Habitat Restore) Our Goodwill in S. Georgia is not very good as compared to the Oregon & Washington northwest area Goodwill stores shown by Laura Caldwell. Thanks again for sharing !

Did you list the Pyrex yet? My mom has that set but one of her bowls broke. She has promised the set to my daughter so we are hunting for the missing one. I need to find out which one it is but I’m sure it’s one of the smaller sizes. Please let me know if they are still available. Thanks!
