I laughed hard at the typewriters in the garage ( don’t want to talk about it) and your husband not saying NO. I chuckled HARD! Anyway, there is no way I’d leave without that typewriter. Also, I know I’d be weaving tissue paper around those keys for support. Twisting it a bit, and tucking. That mink cloche…I heard you say Woodward Shops and did a screenshot of that label to confirm my suspicions and yes, that was definitively from Hudson’s in Detroit. I used to work at Hudson’s, but not the old Flagship store. That was long before me and I’m old. Lol

We’ve had the best sales this month. I’m shocked but we purchased huge lot of antique and vintage postcards at a garage sale. As I started listing them we started seeing an increase in traffic to our shop.

Every time I see you show patterns that sold I want to go dig in a couple stashes that I have been given over the years, one is from over 20 years ago from a lady that used to do lots of sewing.

I use one-lens readers because of different length lenses after cataract surgery. It’s simple to remove the lenses without damaging the frames. Put the glasses face down on a counter. Smack the lens hard with a hammer. Voila! Doesn’t break the glasses or frames. The lenses just pop out. No risk then to sell the frames alone. And I just learned that there is a craft where artists reverse paint on eyeglass lenses and make brooches out of them, so save the lenses and put them in a craft supply junk drawer lot.

I picked up a few high dollar designer frames I plan on listing soon, but I’m wondering, how much cleaning do you do to prepare them for selling/photographing? I’m assuming a wipe down would be good? Maybe tightening a screw if needed? As someone who wears glasses myself, it can get time consuming to try and get all the dirt and gunk out of hard to get to areas. Especially in plastic clear frames 😅- totally open for any suggestions from any of your viewers as well 😊 I’d love a video on how you list frames! (I commented while you noted that you’d consider making a video on eyewear 😂)
I’ll check with Mr Pish Posh about how much he cleans them- but I know he’s more detail oriented than me 😊.
My husband and I were married 24 years before he passed. He never ever learned to say No to me. I’m just trying to help you with realistic expectations. You’re going to have to tighten up your own self discipline. Sucks, I know, but true. Just rejoice in a love that most people never find.

If she uses calculated shipping, we're seeing what it would cost to ship the item to her own zone because she's logged in and eBay shows what the shipping would be from her address to her address.
