Dundee 2003

Yet another Little Bit of Retro. This time The city of Dundee in 2003
Video of Tayside,Travel Dundee, Stagecoach and Strathtay buses in action plus a little bit of Dundee City Centre thrown in for good measure. Once again apologies for the quality of the video as its from 2003 and posted more for historic value than anything else. Unfortunately music has also been added to make it a little more bearable as the original sound is terrible, Probably why it wasn't uploaded years ago.

Great footage. Less than 20 years ago but looks much longer. So many Strathtay buses, the days when they ran a good reliable service to the Ferry, Carnoustie, Arbroath etc. Since Stagecoach took over it's a bloody shambles. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

Thanks Pamela, Sadly bus services are all about profit now. Dont suppose there are any services as good as they were 20 years ago. So glad you enjoyed your wee trip down memory lane.

Thanks it was great to find them hidden away. Didn't know if anyone else would want to see them with the poor quality. I think Desperate Dan would look just Dandy with a Traffic cone on his head :-)

It's crazy how much the waterfront development has changed but the actual city centre is still easily recognisable.
...just without nearly as many Wright Liberators :( all ADL Enviro Electric now, and they're even phasing out their second gen B7s...
