Rob and Shannon, you both are awesome! Good video and content! In the beginning, you both remind me of my wife and I with our boat. Great to see you work in concert together. Blessings to you both and always keep the faith!!! Steve
Thank you for the encouragement! It takes a lot of work now being together 24/7 but we are trying to make the most of this gift of time. Thanks for following along!
It's a custom to present a gift for savusavu. The gift actually can be anything. They will accept fishing gear, dry goods and even gas. As long as they accept the gift, everything it good. Kava is just the traditional gift. Some villages even don't want Kava at all as their religion forbids it.
We would not anchor somewhere that is dangerous during the day to stay onboard alone. The guy was harassing all the boats in the anchorage not just us.

@ we have been back a few times, helping out some of the local schools on the coral coast with schooling items etc. Enjoyed your episode as well. Take care and God Bless 😇
Enjoy watching your whole family. Shannon, love your personable and thoughtful nature. Way to go on the medical kit.
Thank you so much for the kind words! Glad you are enjoying our journey!

No way would I be going in that cave!
I had to keep talking to myself the entire time not to have a panic attack!
The presentation of Kava to the tribal chiefs seems to have become a little sketchy and predatory.

You're brave to have stayed on the boat by yourself. I'd move on, if I were you!

Yes. They certainly are Very friendly. Definitely some of the nicest people we've ever had the pleasure of meeting.
