I think most people have accepted that assassins creed will never be what it was. I’m interested to see where the go from here. I don’t think it’s gonna be default bad. I do think they should drop the Assasins Creed name though. A game with no stealth, Assassins/Templars, or hidden blades isn’t an Assasins Creed game.
In ME I still had to redo my skills even though I imported Shepard through the sequels. In other news, his perfect AC game sounds like a MMO.

I stopped caring about Ubisoft games years ago. As a matter of fact the only games I've purchased since AC the Black Flag is AC3 remastered for the Switch and The Rebel Collection for the Switch which comes with Black Flag and Rogue because of nostalgia but screw Ubisoft. We never got a proper Rainbow Six game or a Splinter Cell game. It's all tripe these days.
Mario and Rabids Kingdom Battle on the Switch was pretty good but that was a collab.
0:46 I dunno. I do agree with you, that it's not how to get the fans back that kinda fell off after Black Flag, but I honestly don't think a Live Service Assassin's Creed game would be _that_ bad. It's clear Ubisoft is hell bent on this new direction with Assassin's Creed (how else will they sell time savers, am I right?) and considering Assassin's Creed is an annual franchise, I don't see much wrong with it. Though personally, as someone who isn't really in to Assassin's Creed. I may get ratio'd the fuck out of this and admittedly, I don't know sh*t about assassin's Creed, but I just don't see this as that bad of a thing. It's clear Ubisoft doesn't want to capture that essence of the older AC games and nobody is forcing you to buy and play this game.
0:56 Even if it wasn't becoming a live service, I'd argue _recent_ Assassin's Creed games have been really eh. I mean, from the outside looking in they're fine. They're serviceable but I don't think anyone is looking at the next Assassin's Creed, live service or not, thinking "yep. This is someone's passion project. This studio had an awesome idea for an Assassin's Creed game and put their passion into it." It's probably more a long the lines of "oh, that's cool. Another assassin's Creed game that Ubisoft pushes out every year."
Assassin's Creed died after Assassin Creed 3.

I'm tired of the ubisoft formula. There is no more originality or innovation in their games. I hope th new assassin's game fails. Microtransactions in singleplayer games is bullshit.
