Love the milk churns on the back of the lorry at the end. Not a hint of refrigeration, how did we survive.

Just noticed at 0:32 jaguar emerged from a road opposite junction of Werburgh St and Eastgate. This is now the entrance to Grosvenor Precinct....So was there originally a road here, and where did it lead to? Lived in Chester since early 60's and can't ever remember this. So interested. Looking forward to anyone's recollection.

Must have been a through road from pepper Street before the grosvenor precinct was built....Good spot

Just letting you know it was Newgate Street if you go round the other side to pepper street near where the amphitheater is today part of this original street is still there but it stops now where they built a big car park building which then goes on to where the shopping centre is now and through to that part on eastgate street. I know all this with being so interested in history and researching all the time. Hope that helps.
