Most Haunted Hotel in Chester Stay

- Ye Olde King's Head in Chester was built in 1622, its a pub on the ground floor, a medieval restaurant and a 8 bedroom hotel on the second floor one of the most haunted places in England and the top for Chester.
I went and stayed there about 4-5 years ago with my parents, I was around 9 and at night we heard furniture moving around in the room next to us and running up and down the corridors , in the morning the person who ran the bar asked us if we had a good night and we told him what we heard and he said that nobody had checked into the room next to us , i was highly freaked out !
I know this is from a year ago but I just wanted to say I love the history of Chester all of it I love this building being so old to. What I like about these haunted ones is it always makes me feel like I’m going back in time to that time and I’m like with them that’s how I always see it I find it all so interesting. I’m starting to get back to Chester from next week after not going much over the last year so back to all the site seeing again so looking forward to it. I only live in Wirral so doesn’t take me long to get in by bus. Please do more of these when you can I so enjoy them.

What a fantastic old building, it reminds me of something from an MR James ghost story. Yes, Number 13. That building has seen some history over the many years.

I wondered what this place looked like before they turned into sideshow experience that it has become.
If I remember rightly you have stayed in the room where Most Haunteds Yvette Fielding stayed on the show, the taps in the bathroom kept coming on by themselves. I’ve stayed there twice in room number 8, some very strange experiences in the night!
You right mate i did, i did not know till i came he and watched that most haunted episode. Oh really did you see anything when you stayed?
We stayed in the room where Yvette did the mirror scribing with the steam from the kettle. It’s probably the most haunted building I’ve slept in. One incident I remember happened around 3am in the morning, I was awoken to a bright flash like a camera flash going off. This also woke my wife up too and we could not come up with any explanation. We’re hoping to go back again this year!
@@colinwhiteley1613oh yes i know which one you mean, wow really i can imagine that was unsettling, when we heard the foot steps outside on the corridor first i put it down to other people going back to their rooms, but when it happened about 4 or 5 times around the time you said it was very strange. How interesting of you to mention that. I just visited that pub in Santa Monica a few weeks ago. It's a wonderful pub and restaurant. Very friendly British staff.
