I REALLY hope these two will never be forgotten. They are crazy talented and dedicated in their art. They are my favorite dancers and they unlock so many memories for me since I watched them when I was growing up.
I would love to see the young generation finding back to the roots of pure hip hop forms like popping or locking and forget about those social-media dances
they don't have within them these days, they follow and copy, we were inspired and developed own style. There's the difference, today's gen want it done yesterday out of the box...with immediate effects (only have to look at DJ'ing these days), pick fairly cheap decks with all the "right" buttons, download a few tunes and you're an international DJ in a week.

Nowhere near close to being the greatest of all time. For #1, all of their moves are basically imitations of the originators. They are just presenting it to a new generation elation that wasn't born yet to have seen the pioneers. Their moves are completely lifted right off of soul train and American bandstand. Now they deserve an ovation for keeping the style alive most definitely. But to call the the g.o.a.t. is completely a slap in the face and butt kick to the original a d originators

All this started out as breakdancing, the robot, pop and lock and now dub stepping. Just in that order. Back in the early 80s we breakdanced. That's old-school but neeos changed it. Nice to see how it all changed threw the years.
there are repetitive patterns if you look closely, i believe they've been doing this for YEARS, i'm sure it's easy for them to memorize these steps. it's just like musician can play for 30+ minutes without music sheets

I've added tons of different forms of Poppin, breakin, flexin, liquid, tuts, Melbourne shufflin, tracing, digits, miming, etc. But locking I never had a good way to learn but damn I want to add those moves to my muscle memory!
