Just bought an '07 TL identical to this one. Same color and navigation. However, mine only had 13,600 miles on it. It is superior to the '05 that I had and am currently trying to sell. The '07 is awesome. Mine had some curb rash (wheel scrapes) on 3 of the wheels. Just got them repaired this week and they look brand new. I'm very excited about owning the '07. It is a sharp looking car and drives great!
Got a black on black 05 w 180K Runs like new . best car you can get for the money by far. luxurious, full efficient, great all around car. Can't go wrong w a TL
Don't give up on the dream man... I own a 2004 and honestly is the most fun I've had... Takes a thrashing and still stays together at the end of the day!
I actually own a 2005 silver Acura TL and am looking to replace it with a low mileage '07 or '08. I love the TL. It is a great car to drive and own. Fast, reliable, luxurious and stylish! Best car I've ever owned. The new TLs are growing on me but this generation ('04 - '08) is my favorite as far as looks go.
My friend and my manager both have a 2005 Acura TL. Evening though I love my 2015 Toyota Camry XSE 4 Cylinder, I do like the Acura TL a lot especially the 2004-2008 ones.
The Acura TL is such a nicer luxury sedan compared to the Lexus ES350, The Lexus is just way to similar to a top line Toyota Camry and also just as boring to drive. While the TL is based on the Accord, Acura did a much better job than Lexus at differentiating the TL from the Accord. (ex, larger engines, sportier driving experience, sleek angular styling). The ES has a slightly different look from the Camry but you can easily tell the 2 cars are similar and engine output is nearly the same.
Heard ABBA and U2 in the background, was quite easy considering how damn quiet that car is. Wouldn't surprise me if you could scare someone sitting in the rear seat by slowly accelerating. Awesome design as well. Have no idea why Honda though the Accord and Civic were too pretty for the American marked, but this is as fresh as the other Japanese Hondas :)
Me too, but I still prefer to looks of this generation above all others. The beaky look of the new one reminds me of exotic birds every time I see one.
Same chime as a Honda, I wonder why... lol. My uncle had one of these (don't remember what year), he taught me how to drive a manual in it. I think he ended up selling it though. It was a pretty sweet car. A cool feature I remember is that the mirrors would tilt to a different angle when you would shift it into reverse.
@soulweaponry I did replace it in August. As I drive a lot, I like to buy low mileage cars and keep them a couple of years. When their mileage gets in the normal range I usually start all over. Bought the '05 with 25K on it. Just sold it 09/01/10 with 68k miles. Bought the '07 with 13k miles on it and will keep it for probably about 2 1/2 years. Rather than letting high miles devalue my cars I sell them and roll the money into a newer one.
You're thinking of the TSX. The TSX is a rebadged version of the European Honda Accord. The TL is unique to the north American market and is based on the north American Honda Accord.
@robogoat23 i got mine an 08 back in aug of 2011 and cant say i have any complaints. i just personally dont like the new style so thats why i went with this style. hope you get yours soon.
Hoping to buy a 07-08 TL hopefully a type s for $9k with 145k miles just hope I can soon they seem like amazing cars putting 258+hp stock you can't beat that for a small v6
yep, it's all around pretty good so far, i got a type-s with various engine mods & aftermarket exhaust making around 320-350hp (est). However try to avoid bad bumpy roads, and the snow in winter and you should be good.
I managed to find a 2007 TL with 76k miles for about $8,500. Take some time to research prices and find the right one for ya. Currently it's at 117k miles and it's been great to me. :)
actually, maybe you could do an RL video for us if you get a chance, not the current generation with the ugly beak grill, but the previous one, 06, 07 ish, those ones
Of course the nav system looks old. The 3rd generation TL first went on sale back in fall of 2003 Newer cars have featured better nav systems, but when this was first introduced it was on e of the best systems around.
@jbone51096 id say if u got the money go for the acura it looks way nicer and the V6 is more powerful. But this car does take Premium and might cost more to repair, so if money is an issue just stick with the accord. I have an 04 EXL V6 and it is a great car 25 dollars gives me half tank and its good for a week. Also only big repair iv ever had to do was the Power steering hose, it now has 110000 miles and runs real nice! so again its up to u.
yes but the 09 TL's also come SHAWD which under acceleration gives 70% biased to the rear wheels and up to 100% of that power to either wheel for cornering. i don't think thats fail. And yes they are ugly but when modded and the front grill customized it starts looking a lot better
lol man I bought one of these yesterday for 4500. 145k miles on it and its a 08. Its a nice daily driver and it will keep me from putting serious miles on my genesis
It's insane to me to see 2004+ cars with cassette decks. Lol. But I guess it's convenient because you can just use a cassette to mp3 adapter... unlike in 2004-2008 bmw's where you have to take the dash apart to add an aux input.
The 2004-08 Acura TL is thus far the best TL generation!
dwilsonjr78 and the cool thing is they don't show there age lol people get confused all the time when I tell then my TL is 2005 there like nooo way 😂
dwilsonjr78 Facts!!!
dwilsonjr78 I miss mines my 07 got totaled 😓😪
The 1999-2003 is pretty solid also
That's 3rd Gerneration TL.
My Stepmom had an '08 TL. That thing was wicked fast and quiet. I loved it.
its crazy how you will never hear again what they played on the radio.
damn

This car is a jack of all trades
I really like these cars because they are so nice and I was trying to get my grandmother to get one.
Me too, but I still prefer to looks of this generation above all others. The beaky look of the new one reminds me of exotic birds every time I see one.
DREAM CAR! I want either an 07 or an 08.... God, I want one of these!!!! :(
I bet whoever's house you set the nav to will be freaked out when they see this.
2007 Acura TL, 65,770 miles

Beautiful design

jo yu Does How long have you had it, and have you had any problems with? I'm looking to getting one as well
Me too! It’s amazing

Good luck on getting one!
THE GOOD WORK
@RCW9094 Both '07 and '08 models have back up cameras as long as you get the navigation package. My '07 has it. Cool feature.
Can you do an overview on the latest gen TL?

Please do a Type-S I want to buy that car so bad but I need a good review of it before I make a decision.
well i now know where to sleep in after my alarm clock gets fucked
My soon to be first car
I like these TLs, a bit more than the new ones, but for a little bit more you can buy the RL for a good price used
Панель приборов похожа на рождественскую ёлку :-) Великолепно !!!
Did it have a sub-woofer included in the sound system? I am looking to buy one.
preciate it.

Got the 2006, love it, but poor gas mileage and I hate seeing such nice looking seats on other TL's. My seats are on CRACK.
Hopefully getting mine it march does the 2006 have a flip key or just 06 and 08 models ???
And got an idea they should make door handle turn signals???

Hi Kyle, Can you please review the 2015 Acura TLX 2.4L w/ Tech AWS. Thanks!!!!
Hello house, please does this Acura tyer pulls also just like Honda?
What color looks better white with tan seats or silver with black seats??
Hey Kyle would really good if u could do the latest Acura TL. Preferably one with SH-AWD and Tech pack would be nice :)
Probably because the third gens are the best looking ones. The new ones are sharp too though.
Classic design
Should I get the 07-08 or the 09-10 tl? i like both but cant decide.

damn where can i one for cheap, every1 i see is 10k or over
i found a 07 TL with 60k miles for $10800. don't overpay for a car, make sure you're patient.
I managed to find a 2007 TL with 76k miles for about $8,500. Take some time to research prices and find the right one for ya. Currently it's at 117k miles and it's been great to me. :)
+D Based does the suspension make the type s bad in the snow or something ? I am assuming you said to avoid bumpy roads because of the suspension
actually, maybe you could do an RL video for us if you get a chance, not the current generation with the ugly beak grill, but the previous one, 06, 07 ish, those ones
I have the exact same car except it’s carbon bronze on the exterior and all black leather on the interior.
could you do a review of the new tl? please
I was disappointed with the lack of effort you put into this review.
This was in 2010 give him a break he was still new to it all
Corjor Still you want to keep the viewer's attention throughout the video
budy1348 You can speed up the settings say to 1.5 or 2 lol
Well it's not like you're paying him for this so.... Shouldn't matter what effort he puts into it.
i agree
you showed and said nothing of the DVD player and what it is doing in the trunk
5 years late..but it's only for the navigation system and nothing more
Yes, they do.

an average MPG of the 2007 Acura TL automatic is

When you pulled out on the pocket on the door and it came out i thought you broke it lol
lol man I bought one of these yesterday for 4500. 145k miles on it and its a 08. Its a nice daily driver and it will keep me from putting serious miles on my genesis

I love the design of the exhaust tips, I love it when they integrate them into the back bumper instead of have them just poke out like an erect dong.
should i get the 07 tl or the 09 tl?
its right under the hood where all cars have them... you have to take of the black plastic engine covers that cover the entire bay
@tkach21 i noticed that too, it seems to be a little high
awesome. can you do a Nissan armada
the technical name for that "in trunk grill" is cargo liner/trunk liner..just sayin =P
Sweet vid tho!
@saabkyle04 can you plz review the 2nd gen TL plzz!
@mattbjrs Honda owns Acura, that's why they have the same chime.
