Very nice trip report, thank you! I liked when at the beginning you pointed out that one should not sleep on this flight, because its better to overcome the jet lag. But then you opened the window and said it wass all dark in the cabin. Why??? Did the crew order you to close the window? Or did you close your window volntarily? Good airlines let pax control the window as they wish. How was it on your flight? I never close my window on day flights and never had problems to keep it open

I guess lights are turned off so ppl who wants to sleep can? The crew didn't order to close window :) I did it becoz everyone else did. My eyes are also very sensitive to strong sun. Also I watched movies so I just close the window.
