Hope they go back to a second meal service. This is a joke and it was not like that couple years ago. They also should serve complimentary food in ECO on short haul flights. The "to purchase credit card option" is a low cost airlines option.

Hello and thanks for watching my video. I'd love to fly to the Indian Ocean one day especially because I have never been there but I can't say when I'll be able to do such a trip.
Just flew with Turkish to Bangkok...same Flighttime. Comparing the food to Swiss is most embarrassing. The food that Turkish offerd was out of this world in comparision. No Lufthansa related cost saving Bistro Service there😅.
The Lufthansa group does indeed have potential for improvement.
You have to remember that Swiss Airlines is sadly owned by the Lufthansa Group which controls the financial side amongst other things.
Hey, interesting report. But statement about the missing second Service is not right. They offer a nice variety of different food items. What you ordered is more like snack. In the menu there are much or. There is as well a tray service, a choice of a nice Pasta dish with saffron and ricotta Sauce or a lighter version like a grilled courgette salad, served with some bread. That was my experience
What you are describing is literally the bistro service as I am talking about in detail in the video. This is not a full meal service but a substitution for a second meal service
