“How fast is a Godzilla?”
So, according to a 1994 Trendmasters Godzilla action figure trading card, Godzilla can move at 40 mph on land.
However, according to the 1996 comic “Godzilla Saves America: A Monster Showdown in 3-D!” Godzilla was able to travel from San Francisco to New York City in roughly the same amount of time as King Ghidorah took to fly from Paris to New York City. The Distance between New York City and Paris is 3,625 miles, and since King Ghidorah’s flying speed is Mach 3, this means that it would’ve taken 1.574 hours to travel that distance. If Godzilla traveled from San Francisco to New York City in the same amount of time, taking the inefficient route that he did, he would have traveled 2,692 miles in the same time, or 1,710 mph, or Mach 2.22. That is how fast a Godzilla is (or at least according to questionable at best math based off of continuity error in a one-off 1996 comic book with Bill Clinton and Peter Parker in it).
