    I’ve had a few bleed thru pieces due to not priming it thinking it didn’t need it. When questioning it, do it. You don’t want to have to start over and waste time and supplies!! Lol.

    Biggest paint fail wasn’t on furniture. I have four pocket doors in my home. I didn’t scuff sand or prime before painting & once my huge Saint Bernards scratched the doors, the paint peeled off in sheets. Ugh.
    My family was up to our eyeballs in credit & medical debt & getting that paid off was a loving act for our entire family. Glad you and your loved ones are free, too.
    I am a fan of your blue rainbow shirt. Do you remember how you got it?

    I mostly paint with water based paint because it's odourless. However, I learned the hard way to never paint on a rainy day! It won't dry properly and you won't get a smooth surface. Some stains have this problem too...the result is hideous 🫣🇳🇱

    Turned out great! I really like that color. I liked to tip on using painters tape when filling the old hardware holes. I was wondering what is your favorite stripper that isn't too stinky, that you feel works the best. I found a Heywood Wakefield table on the side of the road. Someone painted it black😢. Was hoping to strip it. It looks like it will be a pain in the you know what.

    Wow, I have never seen paint do that. My paint mishaps, too numerous to mention.
    So big box, particle board, and that style, I never would have guessed. That muted sage color, well, you couldn't go wrong with it. I like these in every way. Wish you would have staged the bottom right shelf with some slightly colored glass bowl, but hey, good job done. Reminding myself that you know more than I do.

      Well you were spot on actually!! I was on the hunt for woven baskets for the bottom but they would have eaten up all the profit so I decided to forgo that idea! I did mention it in the ad that this would look amazing with some sea grass baskets underneath for storage. Have a great week!

    Couple questions..notice no "real" protection of garage floor while painting? So no over spraying with gravity sprayer And no dust catching while sanding? No sanding between coats

    When it says “respray within 1 hour or after 24” it’s isn’t kidding. I once had an entire paint job “crinkle” because I sprayed too late/too soon. It was a mess to sand smooth and start over 😩

    I feel like I've had so many fails painting furniture. Probably one of the worst was when the paint kept chipping off and it wasn't milk paint. I sanded it down twice I think. I think I used shellac and bonding primer because it just didn't want to stick. Made me so mad because I did the prep work of cleaning and sanding.

    Hi, Kara! I hope I'm getting your name right. That Wagner sprayer can be used without any type of compressor? And can you use chalk paint with it? I'm not sure what kind of paint Lily Moon is. Thank you for the info! Blessings from California.

    I’m the process of fixing my paint mess up twice 😓 I’m doing a paint wash with stain on the top and I’m struggling with one end table so bad. For some reason it’s drying out on me too fast and causing it to look funky in spots. My other end table stained beautifully.

    Question! I have an executive desk with these types of pulls.
    I wasn't able to remove them. I tapped up when staining and used a gold guilding cream. It's there a way to remove them to really clean well?

    • @LemonstoLemonadeFurniture
      @LemonstoLemonadeFurniture  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I find that they are usually nailed on with very small nails so that is why I had to use my upholstery tool to remove these.

    I haven’t tried a sprayer yet, can I ask what you do with it between coats? Do you have to clean the whole thing out or can you put the tip (I think it’s called in water) and leave paint in the spray container??
