Absolutely love these passage videos! The sound of the wind, waves and Nandji 2 slicing thru the water to the west is the best "music" score ever! Getting closer every day to Bonita and Tallula. Can't wait to see that reunion! Great crew you have Yosh! Sail on!
So happy that you've taken Marley along for the ride, sparing him any more separation anxieties! Good decision, Josh. Enjoyed sharing this sailing episode with you!
So fkn happy Nandji 2 is as solid as she is, too many people think ther vessels are blue water capable, not!!!! Yoshi u have become a true Aussie Legend, Sailors need guts, grit and Courage an u have them in abundance, be safe, keep thinking, have fun, watch each other's backs. Keep Marley calm. Looking at our magic Aussie Flag, Flying with Pride.
Thank you for sharing your adventure! You didn’t have you boat shipped to your next destination (like some of the other sailing TH-camr’s. Your courage is commendable!
I was lucky enough to have sail across the south and north Atlantic 3 times under sail and once on a harbor tug and each experience was wonderful on its own merit. Enjoy.
Hi Josh and crew wow looks fairly rough at times but Ningi two will cope with it. No problem I can understand. Missing your family. Keep up the good work from Australia
Could’ve watched an hour of this vid Yosh..very easy on the eye!..boat handled it with ease mate!..nothing upsets a whippet just a feed bed & somewhere for jobbies no fuss!
PS ones you come to South Africa Cape Town just further north is Saldanha Bay and Langebaan Lovely quiet bay!!!!! Its South Africas biggest iron ore Export Harbour where you can get REALLY CLOSE to some BIG ships some nice fishing cyte surfing and and and!!!!!
cheers! I love the shining plankton in the Indian! Thanks for sharing your travels! Also, that game is called "caught yer eye" or "catch yer eye" in the US
I like construction projects like this, have been wanting to build one myself. What I was thinking of building, which you seem to have already thought of, is to make a balcony out of the cargo door.
When I was in the Navy in the 70s we called that circle game 'fishing'. If you noticed it but didn't get caught seeing it, you could try to hook it with your finger and rebound the fish title upon the originator.
@@FrothLyfeSailingNandji great game. Overwhelmingly popular with juvenile males.😂 I also met your crew member Disco Stu many years ago at Mentawai Surf Camp. Loose unit. 😵💫
Wow I cant even imagine this long adventure passage without seeing this footage! And the hard times when you cant video because you are all so focussed! That lone bird😂💩 it's taken advantage! What a friggen mess on deck and solar panels especially.😂 Great video once again Captain!:
Really enjoyable videos of your Indian Ocean crossing. Im impressed with your ability to upload three videos so far from land. Others have had to simply "blackout" their uploads for 6 weeks. How do you do it out there?
With a crew of 3 I do 2 on 4 off at night and 3 on 6 off in the day with changeovers at 0600 and 1800. This allows a 6 hour off watch to catch up on sleep.
Absolutely BEAUTIFUL video Yosh!! Exciting, incredible views and a fantastic adventure❤ In this crazy World, you guys are the bright spot!! Faith, Hope and Love❤🙏 (also, nobody noticed 😂😂)😝😝
Yoshie, is it confected or did you score the best crew for this passage? Well played, thanks Huey! MVP Crew is Marlie tho. There with you fur-mate. Long time between beach runs. I know you are doing your best for him. He's family. How good are our sight hounds?
@@FrothLyfeSailingNandji Cool, thanks for the reply - I just couldn't tell if there was anything on the end of it or not but keep up the good work and good luck with your adventures !!

WOW Just started watching and that's a really good boat. Back to the vid.
Aye boys! Looks like a good sail. Glad you got to use the vane and give the auto pilot a rest. Great investment!

That was epic sailing conditions... Loved it! 👍👍
Nandji 2 is doing great.

You know the game well 😂 we played same rules!!!

Cape Town is experiencing the Cape of Storms. Lots and lots of rain and high winds.
We will get there during the summer months 😂

Hey Yosh. What is that line you're pulling behind Nandji?? Can't be a drogue!??
❤
Nice video guys - Just curious what the rope of the back of the stern was being used for?
Did yous have a drogue out?
Acting like a drogue but less drag then an actual drogue 👌 used to stop the stern skipping out in swell and helps to hold it straight when surfing

It would be awesome if some dinner sized fish just washed up on the deck!
Put a hook in the flying fish and see if Poseidon will gift you a fish . :)
put that big one in the fry pan?
The gotcha game!
😀😀👍👍❤❤
Never mind you told us right after wrote ? Got it!!
I thought you might have sent mali back to Australia whilst you did this trip.
When you hit Africa you have a place to stay for free. Chiponde beach resort in Malawi if you have time.
Sounds amazing!! Please message us on instagram!!!
🤠👍
You s kicking arse mate.
🤘
How’s Marley travelling?
He sleeps a lot on longer passages but he is my shadow and happy 🤘
no mate, unfortunately I am still in Kansas!
That's your bucket? Now I know.
Use the dead flying fish on the boat for bait!
No need for bait at 9 knots
Need someone on a surfboard
They got 3 men surfing down the waves. See the rope off back of that 40 ft surf board? It's to slow the surf!
All I can say is, you're so brave Yosh. No wonder Bonita loves her alpha male.
Mate you overstayed your welcome 😂😂
This would be an epic experience but I’m sure I would say something wrong in 14 days.😂
Ball gazer lol
If you tie a line under the bucket like with a cross it will not give way and will last forever.
Nice one! Will give it a try, cheers mate
Now your cooking
Real sailing
Yew! 🤘
