Possibly the worst mission in any game I've ever played. Before this mission I would have given the game high marks but now. All the good will is gone. I died chasing after the old man and it put me way back at haven. I've tried the trick where you slide under the masked worm. It worked once but I died again before I could find a save point. So I patched the game but I worry the patch just made it so you can't slide under the worm anymore. I am very close to quitting and if I do I won't be playing any more Ubisoft side scrollers. Whoever designed this quest is a masochist.
Thank you. My old man was glitched and literally just standing there. I could walk right through him. I even quit and restarted and he was standing right by the elevator. But i just followed your guide to where he was supposed to be and he was there (also). Again, thanks!

i have a MAJOR BUG in the game..i cant go past the area of toxic liquid rising..the dirt piles in the middle spawn so late that its impossible without dying..its diffrent in ur gameplay.. :(
i restartet the game and it fixed..thank god i love this game!

@pirsaeed3290 no haven't found none, sucks I had to start over, but the only solution I'd recommend is to immediately pause after you fall and watch a walk through so you know where to find the next checkpoint saving you the hassle of starting a new game, really bummed out but I wasted like 3hrs trying to find a way their with no luck

okay.. so i did it.. It took ages. I went in from the top entrance west of The Haven. Made my way somehow through the 1st worm with the face shield. As it goes to strike you, slide under and keep sliding. It'll kinda glitch you to the back side of it. After that you trek through more and you'll come across a wak wak tree and a save point. After this there is one more of the shield worms so you do the same thing and then you're back in the room in which you fell down originally....
This was a mission.....
thank you. I wanted to wait for a patch to come out and fix this problem. Instead, I went and played Cocoon and it was wonderful. I will definitely try your solution. What a pity that the game is so well affected by such bugs.
