A railway success story. Opens up a lot more possibilities for me West of Oxford...MK/Northampton/WCML avoiding Birmingham. Much quicker than taking the car on already congested roads. Remember the Oxford-Bletchley line before it closed in 1967....never thought it would re-open, glad to have been proved wrong. Excellent video by the way...thanks for posting🙂
Ryan and I both laughed and shouted "yhhh!" In the middle of the busy street after Ryan hit the stop record button. Luck really did run in our favour today. Thanks for watching
Very impressive to see a Class 168 at Bletchley on the new East-West Rail line. Plus with London Northwestern Railway to introduce the Class 730/2s late this year and Avanti West Coast to introduce the Class 807 Evero before the end of this year. I still think that the East West Rail link should extend from Bedford to Cambridge.
Hi purple x Ryan x co 😊great video as always, good eye in the sky footage and loved the STEAM TWAIIIIN ending 👍👍👍 BTW did you know McDonald's up by Priory has been shut for refurb for over a month.looks like it's about ready to reopen soon.didnt know if it was worth a video for your other local Wellingborough news channel 🤔
Great safe drone piloting, you must have practised. So for testing there is no signalling yet? GWR & Chiltern each had possession of a single track for sole train operation?
Oh yes 4 years practice but only 4months with this DJI Mini 2. I'm also an extremely bad self critic so in a way it pushes me to be better. Thanks for noticing
Hi Dave. great to see you at Bletchley for a change. Unusual to see 800s there too. maybe this for the milton keynes to oxford service where as Chilton will got to Bedford? caroline.
What a huge planning error not to make a southern pedestrian entrance and crossing into Bletchley from the new E/W platforms. Folk will have a long walk.
Unfortunately, MKDC were always a shortsighted bunch; no doubt their Planning Dept messed this up. I preferred this region of the country when it comprised the four principal towns: Stony Stratford, Newport Pagnell, Wolverton, & Bletchley; now it's a lavatory, aka Milton Keynes.
There’s a 6 in one in at 7.30 from the car park 2 double head freight electrics pass each other, the cement train the Bedford train 2 commuters and more
What is the point of just showing views of a railway line without any voice over or on screen text to say where the lines go to and from, the importance of this railway line... It might just as well be anywhere in the country for the complete lack of information and background. I won't be watching any more !!!
Looking at my statistics, there are a few people that embed my videos onto their own websites. Im fully ok with that and encourage others to do their own take on my drone footage. The actual episode is two videos after this one but if you actually had a look at this videos description youll find all the info you'd need. Just hit the '...more' button under the screen but you do as you please

Yeah it's amazing. I'm very interested to see what freight comes up this way now. Thanks for the positive comment. Much appreciated
Great vid. Showing off with the 3 in one shot at the start there!

Yh it's definitely good progression. I hope Bedford to Cambridge gets sorted soon. Atleast the planning side of it anyway
I hope so too. 😊

Hi purple from Dan
Hiya Dan.

I'm really not to sure how it would work but I sure am interested. Thanks for commenting
Just Chiltern on the new line when it opens, GWR/800's won't be there. Only LNR will be going to Bedford afaik, just like they do currently.
Hi dave really appreciate you keeping me up to date with what is going on at home and locally. Caroline.
surely they have just borrowed a couple of trains for testing purposes. No real reflection on future services.
What a huge planning error not to make a southern pedestrian entrance and crossing into Bletchley from the new E/W platforms. Folk will have a long walk.
Yh it's a shame they couldn't incorporate something into the design
Unfortunately, MKDC were always a shortsighted bunch; no doubt their Planning Dept messed this up. I preferred this region of the country when it comprised the four principal towns: Stony Stratford, Newport Pagnell, Wolverton, & Bletchley; now it's a lavatory, aka Milton Keynes.
It looks quite an attractive railway. I’m not sure I like the silver trains, but that’s a matter of taste!!
They are slow and painful in my opinion 🤣
It will be different trains running when it's open to passengers, that was an old one. Not sure what they'll look like though!
The Great Western Railway fast trains look much better than the silver ones!! But one can see them clearly rather than just in a reflection of time!!
This is true. The Hitachi 800, 805 and the new EMR 810s are far superior than the silver ones but it's nice to see a variety on the railways

Yhhhhh. I love it
