Brilliant video again your a star for being out in the rain. Now you was talking about a nice ale if you ever find it get a can or bottle of tanglefoot as it's made from the hops grown on our farm. Enjoy lol. Looking forward to seeing more.regards to the family
Thank you kindly! The rain certainly won't stop me from filming I can assure you! I'll keep an eye out for that ale when I get the chance, thanks for the recommendation!
Hi Tornado922 you inspired me to start my TH-cam channel. Thank you I’ve loved doing videos but it’s the cost of train tickets is why I can’t do many videos. thank you for inspiring me to do my channel
I'm very flattered to hear that I inspired you to start up your own channel, I can appreciate how tough things are with the cost of rail travel at the moment. Hopefully things start getting easier for everyone1
Thanks for uploading this one. I loved the variety here. Bletchley Train Station brings back some wonderful memories for me. I used to sit on a seat on the platform where trains go to London (platform 6?).. just catching the numbers. If I remember correctly.. there was a room where you could get hot drinks? I remember the old slam door class 310 trains too lol. Happy days 😂 Great video 😊
I think it's P4 where the London bound services go, P6 and P7 are the up/down fast lines so nothing calls there anymore, not since the Intercity services stopped at Milton Keynes anyway! There definitely isn't a café there anymore I can assure you, you've got a waiting room and a drinks machine, that's about it haha!
Hi Tornado922. Great rush hour film at Bletchley. Extra information for you: at 39:20, it was 66547 working the Felixstowe Freightliner service. Looking forward to the next rush hour film at Leighton Buzzard. Kind regards, Chris.
You didn't notice that the 350257 @ 1109 had a smashed 'shotgun' window! (ah, you saw it on the return run!) - - - Of course the weather is getting worse - it is Summer - in England!!
Great video especially with freight and Royal Mail 325’s coming by as well shame about the weather been raining could you do Pitsea which is located on the c2c mainline you can get passers on the Basildon line in rush hour morning or evening but if you do morning you can get the least service leigh on sea to London services
Thanks very much! The WCML in the rush hour is one of the best lines to go to because of all the variety that you get passing through. I'll be honest I don't think rush hour film on the C2C mainline is going to happen as that is just too far away realistically.
Great video Tornado, you didn't pull any punches regarding the ridiculous scheduling of four car sets when in camera shot there was an eight car set parked up? It made me smile when you were almost caught off guard by physics, let's face it when a shed is moving as fast as 66731 was you will get turbulence but as a "Tornado" you would know that. The icing on the cake was "66745" The bike killer"😉. Looking forward to the next video 👍
Thank you kindly! You would have thought that after this many years of doing these films that I would anticipate a 66 bringing a lot of wind with it haha
Entertaining yet wet as well! You really do pick your days to go out don't you? Supposedly the Bletchley to Bedford route is effectively a replacement bus service with the only trains to use it at the moment the freight workings to and from Bletchley Cemex. Hopefully what is known as the Marston Vale line will be back up and running with the D trains in the not too distant future!
Thanks very much! Seems to be the weather has it out for me lately with all the rain that I seem to be getting! The D Stock won't be returning to the Marston Vale Line from what I am understanding, apparently there are some 150s coming over from another operator to go onto the line, but I don't know when that will be
Freight will use EWR between the west and Bletchley. Some will even go to Bedford. But none will use Bedford to Cambridge. None that currently runs anyway.
The West Coast Mainline provides a lot of action. To be honest, I don't think like the East Coast Mainline can compare to West Coast. Love the nostalgia of the class 50 and 56 at the start still going strong. Its a shame about services between Bletchley and Bedford being replaced by buses. Viva Rail did so well with recycled trains especially for those now in service for Transport For Wales on the Bidston to Wrexham services. Just saying but there a lot of spare trains at Ely and I know its long shot but maybe bringing some of the Sprinter units out of early retirement for these services? Or if West Midlands Railway could loan a few class 172's? I hope these services will make a come back. Looking forward to a lot of these rush hour films. Outstanding session you had Tornado922 :-)
The WCML is probably the best line to go to for rush hour action as you get so much variety coming through right from the word go, from what I can understand there are some 150s coming over from another TOC to operate on the Marston Vale Line so that will be opening back up soon hopefully.
Manchester Piccadilly will be Tornado922's next standard film. His Rush Hour films can sometimes be uploaded in between his standard films. Hope you understand this.
I've done a bit of research on 50 049 it's original number was D449 it was named defiance after the royal navy's torpedo school GBRF unveiled 50 449 defiance along with its sister 50 007 Hurcules to run selected GBRF trains on a spot hire basis one interesting fact was 50 007 Hurcules was originally named 50 007 SIR EDWARD ELGAR
I love how the Milton Keynes trains are formed of 8 carriages (either two 350s or two 319s) while the Birmingham trains can be formed of only one 4-car 350, especially on peak hours... Nice logic, here lol And quite the typical British weather right now lol Some nice freight as well, like the ballast train up the flyover, the Royal Mail train, etc. Do you know when will the new East-West line will see its first passenger service? Great video.
It would seem that logic went out the window years ago with LNWR haha, the weather does have a habit of following me about and trying to get me soaked lol, but I soldier through it! There is always a great mixture of freight traffic running on the WCML during the rush hour period
Hi tornado great vid as always! It is apparent that LNWR will soon bring in 2 class 150s (Either northern or TFW) to operate the marston vale line I am liking EWR and it will provide that crucial connection! Interestingly also coming under the Chiltern railways contract which will be weird to see but thats that
Thanks very much, it will be nice to see the MVL getting used once again, going to be strange to see 150's back on that route but also quite welcome at the same time. Also really excited to see another TOC operating on the WCML in Chiltern Railways as I think they are running to Milton Keynes from Oxford when the EWR gets completed
East west rail? I wasn't told about this? Also how long do u think the 350/2 are going to last and when do u think the new 730s for LNWR is going to start to appear? ( Edit: the, 321s have sadly already gone. my childhood 😭)
not for another while I dont think half of them are not ready half are not even liveried and idk where the other half of the fleet are, they may aswell just refurbish the 350/2s since I dont see the 730s coming any time soon there are like 3 just sitting at crewe
Cross country do the same, I don't know which idiot is running their planning department but who runs a four car train with 1 cartridge reserved for first class passengers only during peak hours from Reading to Manchester...
Very enjoyable as usual, love the wit as always.
Thank you kindly!
Another great video and can't beat the British weather
Absolutely brilliant vlog thank you
Thanks very much!
Fantastic rush hour film, I really enjoyed it. :)
Thank you kindly!

Great rush hour film at Bletchley nice to see the class 50 and class 56 at the start of the video
Thanks very much, I wasn't expecting to see them coming through so it was a welcome surprise for me!

We had a 4 car train from Milton keynes central to London Euston jam packed they said to us there was a fault with the rear 4 car so that was fun

No problem, mate.
Early, I love the videos ☺️
Thank you kindly
why was there so many pendolino 390 avanti going to same destination
That way only heads to London for a 390

VERY GOOD JUST THEN KNOW THAT DIDCOT TO OXFORD TILL 9 JUNE
Thank you kindly for letting me know!
Nice railway video mate
Thank you kindly!
Should try Wellingborough
I will be getting Wellingborough covered at some stage
When the new station is built please do one film there
That will depend on the views I can get of the WCML from that station
Great video Tornado, you didn't pull any punches regarding the ridiculous scheduling of four car sets when in camera shot there was an eight car set parked up? Would someone mind timestamping when the Class 50 goes past? Can't seem to find it.
Sure, 3:22 is when the Class 50 goes past.
The pendolino you saw through the window was 390001 I could tell by the yellow name sticker
Thanks for letting me know

That will be nice to see!
the Birmingham train could become an 8 car at Northampton
U shall visit the west somerset railway
I do want to go there at some stage
Any southern trains
Southern no longer go further north than Watford Junction
Shame there’s no marston vale. Good video as always
It's because that the line is suspended until further notice
Apprentely the company who was running it, has gone into administration 😢

You'll often find the two GBRF 50s running about hauling new rolling stock to sidings or depots around the country

Planned late this year bletchley-oxford. No full marton vale until mid 2024, limited from late 2023.

@@TFGtransport train driving is probably a hard proffesion to get into.
@@Sarahbryson321 I'll try my best! 😅
Do a rush hour film at oxenholme Lake District after Leighton buzzard
A rush hour film at Oxenholme Lake District is never going to happen, that is too far away.
26:35 goodness you are so funny
