Could always use a piece of thin weatherstrip to help that glovebox divider. I keep some quarter inch weatherstrip with the 3M tape on hand to help fitment on things.
If I can suggest a good cure for your glove box insert. I bought double sided sticky velcro, some are sold in 1 inch wide strips. I attached a strip to both undersides edges of the partition insert, and the other strip on top of the tiny shelf that is on both sides of the glove box. Press down on each side of the insert. Though, not a exact fit, enough of the velcro sticks on both sides, and stops any movement. I did this in my past tacoma, and my present 4runner. Hope this helps. 😁
GB organizer might feel cheap BUT Ive used one for 7 years they WORK cant all be Billet hahahaha Oh shiite a screen protector for touchscreen I never thought of it. Your ON IT man.
Thanks man! Yeah Goose Gear makes primo stuff for sure, I had a DIY kit in the Fj for a while and it took a beating, once I went with Goose Gear I knew I wouldn’t be able to make something as nice with my tool/skill set.
The rear seats on the tacoma drive me crazy because both my boys are now over 6' and we simply need a full size truck or just ride all 4 as a family in another vehicle now. Just not enough space. The goose gear mod seems good but how much recline do you get with the mod and is it set to a realistic recline angle?
Thanks for sharing everything! My trail hunter will be here in two weeks. What are you using for the organizer on the back glass? I like that idea with the digital rear view mirror.
I have the same FTM500 radio and got the new Tacoma. I’m at a total loss as to where to put it. I like your solution. What mount on the back did you use to get it attached up there?
Usually Blue gets an AC on her in the vehicle for expo, but since the interior was on display we really couldnt do that, so she stayed in Denver most of the weekend. She came to the show for a few hours on Saturday evening, and a very short amount of time on Sunday. I am sorry you missed her, she loves to meet everyone! The heat is just too much for her to be in for very long. She turns 15 in September 😢

Me too 😩
You will definitely like the Meso Customs lights! I have them in my Tundra.

I'm currently looking for a Trailhunter, any idea where I can find one?

A Redvision display would look good up there too….
I thought about it, but there arent many places to fit one because the display is so large.
You could install a computer fan for air flow for the battery
They do have fans built in, it should still work just fine with the Goose Gear
Looking Good! What ham rig did you get?
The Yeasu FTM 500

I have not found the Goose Gear to limit the recline in either my Fj or the Tacoma. I’m 6’1

Nothing for the back glass yet. It’s in my plans though!
