My oldest niece had these dolls when she was younger..
The new one is nice but the original is unbelievable! And the original packaging is just so much nicer!

I’m just so happy that they were able to replicate the original screening, and we are finally getting the belly button body back! I’m hoping they would release more skin tones and body types based on the classic belly button sculpt
I am so happy for these dolls too. :-) I really hope that we get more dolls with this body mold. I love it so much :-) and the articulated ones with the articulated, elbow and wrist too!

When I was a kid I used to play with all the MyScenes from my sister, and was my favorite dolls, obviously I played with them hiding from my parents but now I bought this girls for me and I feel so happy, so I really loved this nostalgic edition! For me it’s so important!

Loved it! ❤ Barbie was my fav doll from the first edition collection, so seeing them together here was awesome. If you don't have a Nolee or Delancey, I defo recommend adding those to yr collection too. 🙂 Some friendly advice...don't leave them next to any Bratz for too long 😂

The original knocks the 2024 one out of the water. The comparison isn't even close.

I think from all the my scene dolls Barbie is the one i actually think I like more than the og, her face is so pretty!! she’s super gorgeous, Delanceys new outfit is also amazing.

Thank you for reviewing the new tribute dolls. They're nice, but they don't blow me away plus I agree they're expensive but I might get them if they go on clearance. In the meantime, I used the money I saved, and purchased my very first Nia doll instead!

I love these videos! I was wondering what they looked like side by side. So far Barbie and Chelsea are my favorite from the repros. Poor Madison, I feel like her screening could've been better imo. 😢

The original is so pretty. The new barbie is really nice as well. Nice that the bag and hat are made of fabric. As for the outfit, do you think the fabric will be more sustainable or will it eventually crack over time? I'm curious. I would love to get her. Great video Grant as always!! Lots of hugs❤❤

Love them both but my favorite is the original one❤I have 70-80 My scene dolls many of them have not original clothes but are beautiful dolls I found in eBay here in Sweden or USA

Yay barbie. They really did try to stylize the clothes similar to the originals. I would have loved to have had them but i was a bratz fan. I love your reviews. I actually have a very similar biker jacket a mix of both those the color of the original and style of the anniversary. It was for a once upon a time cosplay. I could probably use it now to be barbie
I definitely feel like Barbie looks the most similar to her originals. I never like when they give dolls bright red clothing and then a faceup with pink lips and that's what they did with the new one.
The original with a more burgundy jacket instead of a bright red goes better with the frosty pink-ish lip.
Would've been cool if she had a boulder red lip to match her bright red jacket!
2:31, would much rather spend the extra $$ to buy a doll irl esp at that iconic toy store, irl doll hunting is such a nostalgic feeling & so much more exciting than amazon delivery.

I wish they had the original My Scene logo on their packaging and an extra outfit. I also wish they were not released as Barbie Collector dolls, the original My Scene dolls were not released with the Barbie logo

This Barbie looks stunning I love everything about her!! I never had a My Scene Doll but wow if I see them in person I want them!! I tryed the Canadian Amazon website but it said sold out 😔

Lol! I'm so glad that you caught that little joke I made lol I feel so bad for them too. It's a real shame. I did save the deluxe boxes as they were the easiest ones to save. I can't believe people are reselling them for so much money!

I understand misprinted boxes will go for alot of money, but that's when the toys are 10 or more years old and other reasons. thousands of those were already sold the dolls and boxes are not rare.

I think overall these newer ones seem to have thicker hair! Chelsea and Barbie for sure I think.

Hi, I' m watching you from Italy. I still have my daughter' s original my scene dolls. Just a question about the new one and her shoes. That' s something you don't mention but I think is pretty evident for me looking at them: when you take off her shoes you take off her feet as well. Just like for the Bratz dolls, I guess. And that' s something I personally don't like at all 😢
Oh wow! I'm so glad that you have the original my scenes dolls from your daughter! And these dolls are just like the originals shoes and feet, when you take off the shoes they have a regular Barbie foot underneath! They do not have the peg stump like Bratz dolls do! Sorry I forgot to show that I think I do show it in the video with Chelsea and Madison
i found the barbie for 70 on amazon . other two are over 120
Oh wow that is so expensive! I think right now Amazon has third-party retailers selling these dolls for way over their original price. I think around or closer to November 19 the price will be back to the original $40 price point. I think the ones on Amazon right now are not from official Mattel retailer but from third-party ones… So we shall keep an eye out and hopefully we can get them on Amazon for the right price! No. Miss Barbie is the old doll with the wigs. LOL
Both have pros and cons. From the original I like everything, only I'm going to blame for the lack of articulation and maybe the boots. Not for me. The new edition has improved the top and... well the trousers are not bad. I don't like the hat, the jacket does not match her style, only one fashion... the purse... terrible!!!! Made in you know where. Looks cheap and disgusting. This time I'm going to save my money.
Looking back, the purse is a little bit underwhelming, especially compared to the other girl's new fabric purses! Overall, I'm glad you like some things about these dolls :-)! Thank you so much for watching

What is a belly button torso ? I think all Barbie bodies have a belly button ?
Yeah, for some reason, this particular body type is often referred to as the belly button body. A lot of dolls before early 2000s actually did not have a sculpted belly button like the way these ones do!

If I had money, I would go for fashion, private labels, etc. The fashion world is changing so fast, and knockoffs allow me to change my style frequently and keep up with the trends. kislux completely meets my needs. It makes me feel very satisfied and I love it.
