They made these hardtops for a few Cobras back in the 60s in an effort to get more top speed out of them at Le Mans. The roadster was only good for 150 mph while the Ferrari could hit 180 mph. Even with this hardtop, the Cobra was too slow due to its poor aerodynamics. That is when Pete Brock designed and built the first Cobra Daytona Coupe in 90 days, and it ultimately was good for over 196mph on the Mulsanne Straight at Le Mans.

Personally I don't care for the roadster with a clip on top. I would go with the Daytona Coupe - significantly better looking. I would toss the black wheels too - I hate them with a passion! You can't even see the wheel design on them. Oh well, just my 1 cent worth! LOL
