Thanks for this video! What a fantastic opportunity to hang out, and shoot the shit with Ken and Scott. They always seem to enjoy talking about their favorite synthesizers and other audio gear - which is great, because I don't know many people who share that passion (or maybe obsession, in my case). I have always wanted to get an extensive understanding of their creative process and learning when and how they have used each of those strange and often exotic devices. It seems like these guys were more than happy to share their time and enthusiasm for what they do. For some reason (that I don't understand) it seemed like towards the end of the video Stephen was looking to wrap things up and leave, even though Ken was getting ready to demo something and Scott also seemed ready to talk more. Maybe Stephen was trying to keep it short for some reason, but I'd love to spend a couple hours asking questions and trading notes on sound creation and learning from their experience. I probably would overstay my welcome though. I enjoyed the Keyboard magazine interview too. The article is found here: www.keyboardmag.com/artists/1236/the-crystal-method/29710
I adore these two guys..... It's crazy how normal they sound, but the magic is unreal....
