On the keys is Reese Wynans who also played with Stevie Ray Vaughan, the drummer is Anton Fig who played with Paul Shaffer on the David Letterman Show, the other guitar player was Kirk Fletcher from the Fabulous Thunderbirds, the bass player was Michael Rhodes who is a famous touring musician that has toured with way too many acts to list and the backup singer on the far right was Mahalia Barnes who is the daughter of the great Aussie Rocker Jimmy Barnes which Joe has collaborated with several times in the past. They are all world class musicians.
This is the first song I heard that made me fall in love with him and his music! That one and 'Drive'! Please react to 'Kingbee Shakedown' and 'Evil Mama'! You can't go wrong with any Joe Bonamassa song!
This was the final concert on Joe's "Three Kings" tour, featuring the music of B.B. King, Albert King, and Freddie King. You might have noticed he was playing Albert King's Flying V on this song. Albert played left-handed, that's why the name was upside down on the neck, and the knobs were on the top of the guitar body (since Joe plays right-handed). "Live at the Greek Theatre" is one of my favorite albums. Check out "Angel of Mercy" and "Hummingbird" from this same show.
Great choice my friend. This is of course a classic Albert King song from the album of the same name. Incidentally the guitar that Joe is playing here is actually one of Albert King's Lucy guitars. Cheers as always and hi Jason. Welcome to some great music, you can't go wrong with Joe Bonamassa. Regards from England. 😊😎🎸🇺🇦
This is great, you should really react to Joe Bonamassa "Breaking Up Someone's Home" live at the Greek Theatre. Amazing guitar work in this one. Great reactions!!
classic Albert King song. If you notice, all the controls are on the top. Albert was left handed and Joe's playing his guitar. He just switched the strings to make it right handed.... you want some great solos both horns and guitar try "Cadillac Assembly Line" from this same concert.
This is a perfect song for a competition among guitar greats. So many have covered this great Albert King classic. Gary Moore, Frank Marino, Daniel Castro to name but a few. My top choice for this cover is Frank Marino.
Kirk Fletcher is the other guitarist. Joe produced Kirks album not too long ago. They are great friends. Definitely any of the Blues of Desperation album and Redemption more southerny rock. 😊
Great stuff! Check out the UNBELIEVABLE guitar solo on Joe Bonamassa & Beth Hart's "I'd Rather Go Blind" (Live in Amsterdam).......oh, and her vocals will leave you speechless. Trust me....

You need to get him to listen to "Redemption" song and album. It's closer to what he described he likes. Joe has so many different sounds.
Kirk Fletcher is the other guitarist. Joe produced Kirks album not too long ago. They are great friends. Definitely any of the Blues of Desperation album and Redemption more southerny rock. 😊
Joe a lone worth billion dollar with guitar on his hands
