This album that this is on went platinum in the Europe, and Gold in the US. I love it, I had to buy it and Beth Hart Live at Paradiso. My favorite intense version of I'd Rather go Blind. Never tire of hearing it. Did you know in highschool Joe sent Gibson guitars a redesigned prototype of the Les Paul Goldtop. Most notable as Dwayne Allman's favorite guitar, his is now owned by Derek Trucks. Gibson built it, named it the Bonamassa; rather than all gold with pearl white trim it has a black back.

@@Devon_Rismay,I saw Joe when he was about 14 and his dad and mom brought him out to open jam night. His mentor asked the bar to let him play and they said no but the rest of us said let him play. Well he tore the place up, with skill but not a lot of feel,. I saw him later and he played with passion and feel. One of the greats now.

My favorite Joe Bonamassa performances include I Just got paid/dazed and confused live at royal abert hall, Sloe Gin, Mountain Time, Angel of Mercy, Woke up dreaming, with Eric Gales live at Keep the blues alive cruise 2019 "The ballad of John Henry" also on the same cruise with Larkin Poe "Well. Well" and with Peter Frampton same cruise on "While my guitar gently weeps.

Missed you Devon . You probably don’t remember me I some major health but I located my guitars and brushing up on my skills. So excited to be playing again in my blood. I was requesting Travis Tritt his rendition Long Haired Country Boy from Kicking Country he’s an awesome player if anything just look it and listen and let me know what you think! He’s good old Georgia Boy. I toured with him George Strait and Alan Jackson and Travis Tritt. I sang back up on George’s first record You Look So Good in Love I sang back up vocals on the track later I was asked to sing back up on Run. I also back on Alan’s Midnight In Montgomery and I sang back Travis Tritt’s Anymore. Pretty exciting for a 18 year young lady up to my 30’s. SRV GOAT introduced to the blues I was already playing classic rock now my band and my record at 14 went to #1 in Canada and broke the top 40 in the states. I really enjoy your channel. Good luck in finding it! That was in 1980. I was going to be picked by MCA Morris talent agency but I lived in IL the judge said no . I only 14 a minor IL had a law called something like a show mother’s law so we had to turn it down of course I cried . Started my own local played all over Northern IL state fair county fairs Moose Lodges wedding receptions biding my time singing in church school choirs anything I could do. Graduated early from high school and I couldn’t believe he heard my record wanted to know who I was the rest is his history. I’m not in videos they used a lot of house bands. I’m on the music videos they used original tracks. I miss it. Travel on nice buses. I love music with the exception of opera even though it takes a lot of talent. Good to be back!

I liked your video. But I watch at work and have to adjust the volume so as not to be too loud. Your voice is louder than your guitar. Most of the youtubers the guitar is much louder. I like that your guitar was lower but if you could get it to be a bit louder closer to your voice that would be great. I really was interested in what you had to say and what you were playing, but since I am at work I had to stop the vid and adjust the volume. Please don't get mad I mean no disrespect, I really wanted to hear what you had to say and what you played. I work in front of security monitors so my eyes are on the monitors but my ears are free to listen. My boss said as long as you don't bother your co-workers it ok to listen to whatever you want.
