I know, right? Forget a Jungle, it’s going to be a zoo on Opening Day! The Opening Day of Universal Epic Universe is going to be the hottest ticket in Orlando, Florida! Get ready for the crazy crowds!
I think the may date is spot on. Universal is offering discounts until early April. I expect they will do previews through April and May up until opening in late may.
May 24th may be correct but two MAJOR attractions may not be open if it opens any earlier. There have been rumblings on the internet about the ministry of magic ride and the monsters unchained ride not being able to work properly (not properly but efficiently like rise of the resistance). But it’s still early to tell so those issues could be resolved tomorrow for all we know.
This is part of the reason why I’m planning to wait at least a year before trying to go to EU. They will need to work out ticketing, express pass, vacation packages, crowd management, etc. I’m very excited for this park, I just don’t want to have my opinion soured because I experienced their growing pains.
I think it'll be like the free HHN Tickets for passholders, but by Pass tier. Premier will get a certain amount (example: 4) of reservations to use during the year (which needs to be reserved in advance), and then Preferred will get "3" to use per year, and so on down the line.
You are spot on with everything you said about passholders. I really hope Universal doesn't forget us! Maybe you are onto something, hopefully they don't make the same passholder mistakes they have been known for.
Universal IOA soft opening day was so overcrowded that getting across the park took forever. Today we have influencers and vloggers clogging the parks on regular days, so you get the picture on how bad the first few months will be regarding crowd numbers for Epic Universe.
they seem to do media events specifically for the vloggers so hopefully they’ll do one for epic universe, it would make the most sense especially since it’ll be even more promotional content for the company
@@bethsawyers Who are they promoting to, the whole state of Florida are already giddy in anticipation for the opening of EU. The first year will be nothing but big queues and even bigger disappointments, because everyone these days wants instant gratification and to be the centre of attention.
@@davidbreakspear8776 has that same thought process stopped them from holding media events for when new rides open, every year for halloween horror nights, tours etc? no & it’s not just universal that use it disney do too and it’ll be the same for whenever their new sections open. the company knows they play a huge factor especially when people can’t afford to go as soon as a new experience opens or people are simply waiting for the videos of people going to see if it’s worthwhile
The pricing structure when annual passes were sold are based upon the parks that are available at the time. Similar to Volcano Bay opening year with the introduction of the premier pass. Fully expect for Universal to introduce a new pricing structure. Can't get something for nothing.
One thing that's going to be a tough customer service thing to manage will be the inevitable maintenance hiccups with new rides. Typically, you will have the option to purchase another day's admission when weather/maintenance/etc. gets in the way of enjoying your park day or to use a 2nd day in a multi day pass. I'm not the type to go to guest services over a ride malfunction or a thunderstorm. However, in this case the only way to be allowed a 2nd visit after purchasing a $500/pp tocket package is via a comp admission. I really hope Universal has a plan for this because this admission strategy backs Universal in a corner where every day must operate flawlessly to avoid a comp ticket nightmare.
No opening date has been revealed for Epic Universe...period! That article was based on someone on the inside answering a specific question of would the park be open by Memorial Day, and they were told yes. According to construction crews on site, Universal is still targeting having the park fully open by Spring Break, after technical rehearsals take place. I said over a year ago they would beat the Summer 2025 date they gave. Actually their official announcement was specifically "opening by Summer 2025 AT THE LATEST". They always intended to have it fully open before that. The big clue was all 3 hotels opening really early in 2025. If the Kirkman Road extension is done and all the hotels are open...THEY ARE OPENING RIGHT AFTER THAT!
Yep, that’s exactly why I’m saying it’s going to be open earlier. Memorial Day has been around for awhile as a target but I believe it’s going to be much earlier! Thanks for the info 👌🏼👍🏼
the director on the podcast already said he wanted spring or an early launch following the hotels, so sometime around aprilish probably, maybe even end of march if they want to rush. by february, both hotels tera and luna will have seen previews and visitors.
THANK YOU. Can't stand when influencers rush to post click-bait based off of a "well someone told me" news article. There's a good chance that it will open around that time, but it's most certainly NOT confirmed by any first party sources.
Great to hear. We've got a family trip planned in mid June and I was hoping that it would be open a few months earlier to *maybe* work out the kinks and get all the 'I gotta be there first' folks through the gates a few times. 😂🙏
I think they will see some major backlash if they block out single day tickets or annual passes. If they aren't careful, they will gatekeep the new park too hard, and drive lots of people away from even being interested...
Yeah I agree for sure, I think no matter what they do it will be wildly popular for a short time, but depending how they handle the opening it could drive people away and the long term impacts will be negatively felt.
My family, as Florida residents, have already decided that we will wait to visit Epic Universe when and only when we are able to purchase multi-day tickets! Did Universal forget that people are still struggling with inflation cost and no longer have discretionary income?! If they do, they are extremely mindful of where these dollars are spent. At the end of the day the demand may be high, but the low park attendance across Orlando, says otherwise...
I'm a new Universal annual passholder and I REALLY hope that they give us some way to get a single ticket. I think it would be fair to allow "only" passholders to buy single day tickets at $200 or even as high as $250 each. I'd pay that. Whatever you do Universal...PLEASE don't screw your loyal passholder customers.
I would think that they would at least give passholders the opportunity to purchase 1 single day ticket otherwise they are going to have some major backlash from passholders. I think they will limit the number of single day tickets they sell to passholders on a daily basis along with limiting each passholder to how many tickets they can buy in a given time frame.
@@notlegitkoolaid4911 It is insane!....but Epic U park demand will be insane! This will be sold out every weekend for the first month. "If"... this park "really" is mind-blowing? Word of mouth alone will keep it ultra-jam-packed for 6 months. (If not longer)
Why do you want fastpass at epic? It’s going to make wait times unbearable. Vc didn’t have fastpass and the line was great. Then it got fastpass and the line is longer.
As far as annual pass holders, it seems like the thing they should do is open up a "re-up" window during which annual pass holders can "stack" an additional year onto their annual pass, at a higher price, to add Epic Universe post-opening. So, for example, if you have a pass ending July 1, 2025, if you take advantage of the "re-up" window and commit to have a pass through July 1, 2026, you get to start going to Epic at opening, though with limits/black-out dates. You likely even get to go during soft opening / media previews as they'd want annual pass holders and all their Universal-love around the media visitors. Annual pass holders who "nah, no thanks" may not get an Epic single-day until after the "whales" get to book their VIP visits, 5-day passes, etc. But they wouldn't be able to complain because they said "nah" to the opportunity to re-up.
That would be the ideal in my opinion - something they should definitely do but it seems like it’s not likely to happen unless they decide to change their minds really soon! 😥
Thanks for the video! Much as a I would love to go sooner, I plan on waiting a year or so to go to EU although it will still be a madhouse! Regarding annual pass holders, is there any information on how many there actually are? Thanks!
Ok...all this is giving me whiplash. I for one hope it opens on Memorial Day because I am going early May and had wanted to go just before Epic opened. If it does open for Memorial Day, I'll probably invest in an AP in April or March, hoping to catch soft opening and then hopefully use the AP again in February 2026. Hopefully by that time AP will be valid for Epic. How do previews work for AP? Are all categories of AP included? Will reservations be necessary? Will staying onsite (RPR) make any difference?
One of the main reasons people chose Universal over Disney is that they don't have to plan way ahead. If Universal is smart they will just raise prices but keep the ticketing system the same. 3 park pass for however many days. Passholders should get another tier that includes all 4 parks
Heya Man thanks for the Info, it seriously helps. If you hear any news about what the military season pass/discount could possibly be, could you mention it in an upcoming vid?

This is so depressing to listen to. I won't be seeing Epic Universe until 2 years AFTER it opens. The massive crowds expected and ridiculous prices does not predict an enjoyable visit. I'll just sit and wait until the hysteria is over.
For my family we want 2 days at epic and 2 days at islands of adventure/ universal/ volcano bay. I see it taking 2 days to see and do everything in epic. With multiple rides on the coasters. Only going to islands for coasters.
If I can’t purchase a six day pass with three days at Epic and three days split between the other three parks, I won’t spend the money to fly across the country. I think they’d better be careful how they structure this. I don’t mind spending a day at each of the old parks but I feel like many of the attractions in Epic are low capacity and it’s going to require 2-3 days to experience everything.
Yeah it’s going to be tricky. If Universal doesn’t handle this right they can quickly swing in the wrong direction as has been the case with Disney on a lot of things lately! 👌🏼
@@TheNobleWay another thing that they could do is announce future projects and expansion with timelines to maybe cause some to postpone trips until more attractions are added to all of the parks. If people know what changes are coming and how soon to Universal Studios and IOA, maybe it pushes some to wait a year or two for their trips. 🤔
I bought an Annual Pass this year in September that I have yet used. I'm hoping they do something for us AP holders, I'm hoping to go in September of 2025 if not then the beginning of 2026.

Sooo this is not true there’s soooo much to do still it will for sure open by Memorial or after you have no idea the small things you have to tighten up and the rides need 1 million test rides before anyone can get on. So anyway that’s my personal opinion and trust me
Understand why they sell tickets in VIP packages yet reality is kids from poor and middle class families will likely not be able to visit epic until they're adults themselves.
This comment makes anyone who sees it lose brain cells.. people will be able to buy tickets most likely the next year, so what’s the issue? Theme parks are a luxury anyway and are usually expensive
@@NicEeEe843 your comment wreaks of arrogance and ignorance. Theme parks were NOT always a luxury cause they literally market them to families. Even the marketing now for Epic is for families. Don't worry, you're safe cause you have no brain cells left to lose
Well won't be able to use argument that Universal is so much cheaper than Disney for much longer. So they open a new theme park and are going to force you to buy 3 days. One day at new park and two days at old parks with inflated price? LOL no thanks will wait until the hype dies down, they get all the kinks worked out, and I am free to buy a single day if that is all I want.

Jumping off my soapbox now.
Sooo this is not true there’s soooo much to do still it will for sure open by Memorial or after you have no idea the small things you have to tighten up and the rides need 1 million test rides before anyone can get on. So anyway that’s my personal opinion and trust me
Let me tell you the price... its in another video though that some of you can and cant find
Understand why they sell tickets in VIP packages yet reality is kids from poor and middle class families will likely not be able to visit epic until they're adults themselves.
Yeah, really hoping they will have some additional options released very soon! 👌🏼
Nothing was “revealed”. This is just more speculation and clickbait from this channel just repeating what other insiders have said.
Yeah, that certainly seems the case based on what we keep hearing. I’m still confident there will be other options by the time they open so 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼
Soooo misleading your title. ALL of what you tell is just PRESUMING and maybe, it could be. You ramble on about 'what you think could, maybe happen' while your title gives the impression you know it all. But you know nothing at all. Even the openingdate is only a point where they EXPECT to open.
lol
