I was a little confused when you showed the 3 park annual pass prices. From my understanding, the 3 park annual pass was for Studios, Islands, and Volcano, so shouldn't the price list chart say 4 park annual pass prices when adding Epic Universe? I remember upgrading my park pass to the 3 park pass when Volcano Bay was starting to open. Great video though, super informative if everything turns out to be true (or close to it).

How do you take part in the previews? Do you have to be an Annual Pass holder?

Went back for the first time in five years and the magic is fading. Characters don’t walk around anymore. Some of the cast members were fairly rude and impatient. I remember seeing acrobats in Epcot and giant people on stilts disguised as trees in animal kingdom. Didn’t find any of that magic this trip and the new area in Epcot we’ve been waiting five years for was very underwhelming along with space 220, that was the biggest let down of the trip for me. With that being said that new guardians ride in Epcot is probably one of my favorite rides out of all of the Orlando parks it’s a must try and I still have hope for disneys next 10 year plan coco and beyond thunder will be cool to see and until then I’ll be at epic universe!😎 rant over😂

I've had both annual passes, and as a current UOAP I would probably not go back to having a Disney pass... Having Express Pass for paying a premium price is totally worth it!

As someone who had attended Disney World most years from 1977 when I was 12 years old until 2016, SeaWorld 1977-present, and Universal 2002-present, we no longer have anything to do with Disney at all. From their insane price increases year after year, lower quality product, treating fans like dirt, and foolishly delving into politics (Disney is hemorrhaging 100's of millions of dollars because of this white elephant in the room), hence all of the cutbacks in offerings and experiences), we attend Universal and SeaWorld exclusively now when we visit Orlando. Universal is simply a better overall value (ride vs. ride, restaurants, hotels, City Walk, waterpark, prices, the closeness of everything, guest services, and overall experience, etc.). I visited Universal/SeaWorld from NC back in February. When Epic Universe opens next year (we will be there October 2025), it will be the best theme park ever built, sending the Universal Orlando Resort further into the theme park stratosphere. With Universal's 3 parks and our home park (Carowinds), our theme park appetite is wonderfully satisfied. Superb video! I definitely think Universal could feasibly go to a 4th park at some point. But I personally think that any theme park company having more than 4 parks in any one market would create over saturation, which would in turn hurt their other, older parks. 4 parks is a sweet spot that I'd stay at and use my profits to keep all 4 parks fresh and up-to-date. The extra land could be used for all sorts of other unique things. This is Universal's golden opportunity to take advantage of Disney's folly and Disney's digging in their heels to continue to inject politics into their parks/product. Most of us just want companies to sell us their services/products and not lecture us relentlessly at every turn about unnecessarily divisive things. This is such an exciting time as a Universal fan. I rarely agree this much with any TH-camr on theme park stuff, lol. I agree with pretty much everything you said and your look into Universal Orlando's future.

JCPenney was king, then came Kmart, then walmart, now we have Amazon. Disney can’t hold the lead for much longer. Universal is epic!

That was magnificent!! The days where Disney can get away with just doing the bare minimum is hopefully drawing to a close.

How is Universal able to do all this? Where are they getting the money and ambition? Do they want to be the #1 theme park in Orlando?

I heard Disney is constantly suing their contractors and this is what is delaying everything. I’m not sure if the lawsuits are about shoddy work or what🤷🏾‍♀️Been working with contractors for at least 15 years now and you can’t always accept the LOWEST bid. They ALWAYS, and I mean always request change orders until your cost end up double the original proposal. Not only that, I’m sure they tried to retrofit all the animatronics to save money💵 It just ain’t gon work, Bra🙂‍↔️

There's a reason why the original Splash Mountain animatronics were made with hydraulic parts. Having advanced electric animatronics susceptible to heat and weather conditions, in a placed known for having issues with moisture and hot weather, was kinda of a bad idea.

Hopped here from the other video. You got to ride!!! I knew you’d love it!!! Most of the critiques I’ve seen are from folks who just wanted to hate this and are sad about Splash. I do think there are a couple spots where they could be a few more things but it’s got more than Splash ever did. Spoilers: The story is that you start by looking for musicians for the celebration in the bayou. Then when you “shrink” you are looking for the right “sound.” Which the fireflies bring. :). So it’s a hunt for musicians and song.

Hahaha I laughed during the beignet review. Just looking at it in the video I could tell they weren’t on par to Port Orleans 😂

I was ready to get all over your case. But once again, as a new subscriber, I kept watching and man… I gotta say I feel exactly what you are saying!! First, I was able to ride Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in the first day of Passholder previews. Barely. It broke down for HOURS after a very very delayed opening. I got group 40 and boarded at 5pm. Halfway through the ride stopped due to inclement weather. Fortunately it started up again and I finished the ride. And honestly… it was great! A total improvement and best animatronics to date. So I’m sorry you haven’t ridden. It’s fun and you’ll love it. Also. Port Orleans Royal guest rooms are some of our favorites too. 😂 That said, when you talked about how die hard fans are losing faith in Disney… YES! I’m a super fan. But I’m tired of the let downs. I’m tired of things taking forever and nothing coming out as promised. Cherry Tree Lane? Play Pavilion? World CelebrationTerrace? And I’m tired of the increasingly unavoidable sense that everything Disney is related to “the bottom line.” Getting nickel and dimed everywhere. Things getting cut for budget reasons. Things scaling back from what is promised. Perks being dropped. Costs skyrocketing. It’s clear… Disney is focusing on $$$ and living in fear of losing it. And thus losing its way as a company. Meanwhile I look at universal. And they seem to be like.. “hey. Let’s innovate. Let’s invent. Let’s be immersive. Let’s be as creative as we need to no matter the cost. Let’s focus on the experience we can create.” And that is EXACTLY what Disney used to be!!!

On the heels of yesterday's rant, the ride God's smiled down on you and got you on. LOL. Can't wait to come down and ride it later this year but I do agree. From everything I have seen, there seems to be several spots that are light on content. Hopefully they get the bugs worked out as they cannot afford to have this go down frequently especially with the upcoming Big Thunder refurb coming.

There are so many restaurants and so much food at Disney that a ride about a restaurant and food seems somewhat monotonous. Plusthere's Tianas Palace restaurant at Disney Anaheim. Not sure about WDW but I imagine there's also a Tianas restaurant lolol. A little overkill if someone asked me.

Wait time is huge almost 2 hours and Rise is 30 min lol 😂 It’s still my favorite at Hollywood Studios. Still watching your vlog about Tiana’s. Disney has been taking a step back for sure. Universal is just so easy to do and less of a mission.

You ranted about how long it takes Disney to build stuff now compared to other major projects in Orlando. I'll pose a question: If you fire some of you best talent (imaginers) causing many others to become uncomfortable and leave on their own. And many now work with USO, what do you think will have to each companies ability to work on projects? It's simple math. 2+2=4

The only I problem I see with universal is they don’t have the movies and characters that my kids and I love. So even when they do a good show, it’s full of characters we know nothing about and just isn’t endearing.

Some are questioning if they used the wrong animatronics for that ride.

Great Video with what is already coming and what to look forward to. Glad you took the time to lay out what the future may hold. At the end of the day Epic Universe is more infrastructure to support guests and more competition to keep Disney and other parks on their toes to either expand or refresh what they already have!
