Great video man! Id love to share some thoughts as a new subscriber to this topic, thanks for reading if you get that far!
1. "$200 bag" is more like 200$ is the kickstarter price...for the EMPTY bag with no dividers or cubes and just the ladder system...oh and it ships in late 2021. MSRP for the empty bag is $249
2. Nomatic raised over a million off his last bag collab, why are they continuing to go to kickstarter if its more than certain this new bag will sell (over a million on kickstarter right now). This goes into the whole, established companies are basically making kickstarter a preordering system and not really what its intended for.
3. I personally appreciate Peak Designs version of the everyday camera bag because its probably the most direct competitor to this bag, but peak design really makes an effort to communicate the thoughtful and responsible production methods they have when making a bag. Nomatic doesnt, atleast if they do they do not make it apparent and its not on their website.
I also think most people were saying "this bag is VERY expensive" for the first bag more than they were saying "its too big"

Not a big fan of his, but giving credit where it is due. This is a fantastic bag.
Still too big and similar to the Incase DSLR Pro Pack for myself, which is the bag I use when I need to bring everything I can think of. I’m sure some will welcome the smaller size but for an “everyday” backpack I’d prefer something in the 20 liter range. Maybe smaller-if it could expand when needed, Nomatic has some bags that fit that criteria, but I think they could do a little better.

I like the top compartment. I don't like how a lot (not all but a lot) of backpacks are pure camera gear, no extra compartment for "stuff" that isn't gear. I want a place for my wallet, snacks, makeup, and like misc items I normally put in my purse. I don't want to carry my purse and a backpack.
I think the main problem with all these backpacks ist that they really dont look „everyday“ish. Too bulky, too technical design, not sleek at all. Designers know that, otherwise they wouldn‘t need to put „everyday“ in the name.
Only company that fixed that problem so far is Brevite.

I'm using a Fujifilm X-T5 with 3 or 4 lenses and absolutely need to travel with my 14" MacBook Pro (or working computer more thicker) and my 12,9" iPad Pro. But I think this is pushing me more towards the 35L. I don’t need it, by any means, but the side access is a huge selling point to me. If the everyday bag had it, I’d absolutely order it!
