Was so distracting. I'm surprised it's that bad, thought they fixed it with a firmware update...
I love the way the bag is designed for functionality. Being able to grab your setup and start recording immediately has benefits that are immeasurable.

Totally agree on the drone. Bought one in all the hype (partially of which you caused) but ended up using it about 10 times and left now un cupboard. Too much hassle carrying around.

I have the larger travel version of the bag, I love it. I plan on picking up this one soon as it will be more convenient when I decide to just go out for a walk around town or a hike with the family.
I have a similar setup, but I leave the ladder system in (expanded) and just drop a small cube down into the top access section. This creates a nice "seal" along the sides and everything stays in place. In the bottom access section, I use the large divider set configured to carry a grip'd or ungrip'd body with attached lens (no reconfig needed) plus accessories - small drone, speedlight, etc.
It's the most versatile bag I've ever had, love it 😎👍🏻
I absolutely love this idea, Pete. I appreciate your generosity and spunk. I'm down south in the states so unfortunately I won't be into the coffee shop soon but I have been following you since year 1 and will make it up to visit one day.
I use a Sling bag by Hex Ranger. It's perfect for street photography and any vlogging. It fits just enough without needing more. For a bigger bag I use the Osprey 36L with a camera insert as a multi purpose bag.
This camera bag is masterful, backed it the second I saw it and it has never let me down. I’ve beaten the crap out of it and it only looks better.
the studio is just so clean + minimalist, I love it
Honestly ever since I downsized to the Tamron 35-150 f2-2.8 and got rid of my primes, I’ve created more and more without overthinking. I only have one major lens besides my vlogging lens of 17-28! Condensing has been great for me so I’m glad it has for you!
Reminds me of the old question 'what's the best camera?' Answer: the one you have on you. Refining your bag configuration to maximize true productivity is the logical extension of that axiom. Thanks for sharing.

I’ve only recently realised this with having drones for 5 plus years and hardly using them. Now with the mini 3 I use it all the time cause it’s just so convenient, same as your camera setup. Great vid 🤙
I just bought that bag last week. Really loving it. I need to get some cubes next. It has so many nice touches, and I can fit my 16” laptop.

This made so much sense, I made the same mistake where filming was too much of a hassle because i had to pull everyting out of the bag and connect it. Im gonna try the same technique, thanks for the idea Peter :)

I get it! I’m on my 4th camera bag, most recently a Lowepro that in theory has great storage but after using it a few months I always feel like it’s not right? The struggle is real 😂 Always appreciate your tips. Cheers

Pete you just need a smaller bag where a camera fits with all bells and whistles and couple of batteries + card wallet + basic cleaning kit (blower, pen, microfiber). That's it! If you plan to go for a two day + trip - grab large bag and with all extra stuff. I was carrying too much stuff as well but now I'm good with a small size backpack (not a camera bag) or Manfrotto messenger bag.

I’ve JUST gone through how I carry, I came to the same conclusion…can’t open the back, I have two R5’s and they need to be available immediately. You gotta have the peak design holster too, literally a life saver especially when I’m shooting with my kids with me.

I would really love some ideas for grab and go sports photography. I know big lenses won't be an option. But I wonder I could set up a bag with a 70-200, 24-70, portrait lens, and 2 bodies. A long with all the cool accessories.

Ahhhh, this is so relatable "What if" is my enemy sometimes, especially in travel scenerios. I have gotten much better but I still need to catch myself from time to time.
