Love this watch. Have worn it for 8 years. Still get compliments on it. It's both dressy and casual, and it has a clean face that's easy to tell the time. Plus it has a day and date display, which is very handy.
@@andrewnguyen8062 ... I just noticed my watch is a little different -- I got the solar power version (not sure the model name). Looks exactly like the SUR361. I've yet to have to do anything for the solar battery. Maybe put it in sunlight every once in awhile, if that.
@@kingcold7138addiesdive Explorer is still better in my opinion. Build quality is better. Sapphire crystal, 100m water resistance and quartz movement with 4 ticks per second. Iconic explorer style. And it costs much less as well, I have bought mine for under 50€. Seiko can never beat that
Black day and date wheels and a Seiko vh31 powering it and this would have been a home run... I still don't understand why Seiko don't make watches with that movement

Have you had to change the battery at all? I recently bought this watch

@@Ozmodiar6 ah I see, must be a older model
Couldn't agree more!
This video finalized my decision to buy one! I love my new affordable Seiko!
Glad it was helpful. It’s a solid choice!
The SUR311 is $40 more which gets you a saphire crystal, 40mm case, but no day complication. Just the date.
Whats the model of the seiko 5 automatic?
Foe a 37mm quartz, I believe that the Addiesdive Explorer homage is an all round better option.
It’s hard to beat the value from Chinese brands!
Apart from having sharp unfinished edges everywhere on addiesdive explorer…
unfortunately that one has no date, so they cant necessarily compare

No day date, without that i even discard a grand seiko
I just bought it on ebay for 57 bucks. I think it was a great deal.
What a steal!
do you think the seiko 5 jubilee bracelet would fit the SUR361?
thx
Which Seiko 5 jubilee? I don’t have this watch anymore to confirm.
