The SUR311 is $40 more which gets you a saphire crystal, 40mm case, but no day complication. Just the date.
I'm looking for a good quartz alternative to this one. I love the diver style, but I'm not a fan of dealing with automatic watches that are used often.
Took out 4 normal links for mine and added one half link back as it was just too tight for mine. they now ship half links with these watches. I got the upgraded blue MOP dial and let me tell you, that dial is OMG!!! BTW, check out Sugess/Seestern for some interesting, and unusual homage watches. I just got their Seestern GS GMT homage in light blue MOP. Check them out. P.S. The crown on my PT5K works fine. They might have improved the crown after complaints because you're not the first I heard with similar crown issues.
Im more concerned about the lack of a day readout. Its kinda surprising of how often i look at my watch to see what day it is... such as... is it trash day? So... the cheaper lineage watch is better in my opinion... though personally i have three stainless 630 wave ceptors (navy blue sunburst dial, white number dial, and baige sunburst). One being 10 years old and the bettery still reading HI.
It looks gorgeous man! Great purchase
Ur paying for the crystal and the titanium. If you want this cheaper... look into wave ceptor 630d... or 630TDE if you want titanium instead of stainless. The bracelet on the 630 is annoying though. Its pinch adjust, so all the links stay on the braclet and fold under (only positives is that its easily adjustable and sized to any length). No way to balance the clasp, though and thats the annoying part. Unless ur wrist is the perfect size... ie, small. 640 model has the bracelet tool link thing like this lineage... but the bezel has a non functional diver watch ring... no sapphire crystals in either of the wave ceptor versions either.
mine has a little gap between the crown and case seems like yours doesn't have the gap
Hi bro, I’m in Vancouver too, I was wondering if you’ve paid any customs for this particular watch
"cased in china" written on the back. 😢 After 3 to 4 years : Water resistance problems, just washing hands, it fills with water. Push buttons have very flimsy springs that catch dirt inside and become inoperant with time. Also alarm function is useless because quite inaudible. Analog/digital time frequent desynchronisation... Only 4 months power reserve on the lowest side of solar watches. (+ Bracelet is a piece of crap, but we already know this.. and could be replaced.) Nice but overrated and overpriced very cheap chinese casio... not so durable as you may think. Sorry. 😉
What a looker!
Fantastic watch. Perfect size. My one dislike the size of the lugs.... to me, they are too thick, too long, and not rounded down enough to hug the wrist.
so, aqua or white?
Where did you get the bracelet for the blue and black one at 1:05
scratch scratch scratch scratch scratch scratch
What is your Wristsize ?
A titanium dinner plate
How would this compare to a Gevril Yorkville? The Gevril can be bought for a similar price if in the right "sale"
I think the OG Aquaterra looks best in green too... but it's just the date window that holds me back, which is probably stupid as the indicies are all whitish too...
Although this video is a year old I wanted to add my thoughts on the PT5000 as a recent buyer. I was always set on buying the MOP version and finally did last week after watching countless reviews like yours. I'm wondering if they changed something after original release because my PT5000 and screw down doesn't feel nearly as gritty as other reviewers have described and other PT5000 watches I've tried. Maybe its just a roll of the dice or the newer stock with one included half link had a silent revision.
36 mm look better to me then the 40 mm in my opinion good review
How is the noise of the movement of the 38mm version? I remember trying a Orient FAG0xxxx of some kind and the movement was crazy loud to the point where I thought it might be broken but other people online told me that it was normal for this watch.
I own the IXDAO in grey with the icon and in blue with the text and SW200. That is how much I love this watch. Fortunately mine has no QC issues and looks amazing. Both of mine came with half-links.
Dial diametar 37 mm
can you add link for the clasp?
I say it's a women's watch!
Can this watch fits steel bracelet of 22mm if I want to swap the leather one
Are there any good aftermarket matching bracelet options? Looking to get a cheap quartz diver into my collection but on a nice and comfortable bracelet.
I love everything about this watch, except the clasp is way too big. Only thing stopping me from getting it. If it was just a little bit too big it would be okay. But it's about double the size it should be, being titanium makes it basically impossible to get an alternative clasp.
Hi , I was literally just looking at this option . Can I ask what zelande strap you got to fit the ocean rover ? . Thanks
It was for the one designed for Tag Heuer Aquaracer.
New friend here sending may full suppor AMZWATCH 's watch,Worth
Major fault, you did not wear it in your wrist...
wow
wow, u made me want this watch 10x more :D wasnt expecting the green to look better than the alpinst
It’s a totally different shade of green. The green of the Alpinist goes well with the gold indices. The green on this diver works well with the silver hands and provides an overall modern look.
Beautiful! I have one on it's way. What strap is that?
Brown San Martin Tropic strap.
@@realestwatchreviews thanks!
Hi. Nice watch. It sort of reminds me of my Seiko Dress KX…
The dressKX wears huge compared to this watch.
@@realestwatchreviews Not that much bigger. I have a JDM one I bought in 2018.👍🏾
Cartwright Hills
one of the best watch for the price! too many features unlike some other watch
What is name of this solar model ???
MTP-S110-1AVCF
I hear you on the sharpness at the inset of the bracelet. If it’s a beater watch like this; you take a Dremel w/ a buffing wheel of medium density & run it along both sides of the inner links to the bracelet … absolutely works w/ zero marring of the finish.
Best video I've seen for this watch. thank you.
Wrist size?
6 and a half inch wrist.

So many people think that titanium is some sort of "metal of the gods" when really it is fairly humble as an element and not precious. Though being stronger than steel but much lighter, very corrosion resistant and hypoallergenic is pretty special.
Re "gritty" crowns. In my experience this is a commonly stated complaint against many mechanical watches but what most have not figured out is this: The watch is winding when you screw it in!
Thomas Kimberly Jackson Timothy Thomas Margaret
I have the Padi version. Im thinking of getting a black and green one so I can swap the green bezel onto the black dial for a Seiko Sun-Mariner “Starbucks”. The green looks darker though. Maybe better looking in the sunlight. Anyway, these are great little watches 🙂
Have you noticed any jingling sounds from the movement when wearing it? Specifically when shaking your wrist?
I bought one of these from a guy for $40. Best money I've ever spent on a watch. I had to file down the caseback though. It was uncomfortable one the back of my wrist.
I have this watch and love it. I like it so much that if the Tudor a Pelagos LHD had these dimensions I would buy it in a second.
The logo looks horrendously out of place on the SM.
