Great review, thanks. I just bought the green two tone and the light blue from H Samuel in the UK for £120 each. If you are going to swoop do it quickly as they will not be that price for long. Looking forward to delivery. The only trouble is, I will have to find a way of hiding them from my wife as I promised I would not buy any more watches in 2022. I didn't even last until the end of January!
I recently bought The SUR373P! from Jomashop for $178 I love it. The blue is almost black. I really like that. There is a half link adjustment in the clasp if you land between link adjustments. It is shockingly light in weight.
Seiko need to add sapphire and screw down crowns on most Seikos to remain competitive with the onslaught of micro and much improved Chinese watches going at bargain prices.
Thanks for the review. These Seiko SUR quartz watches are classy. Good alternative to Presages. Titanium quartz is always more grab and go, light and easy. I always thought Citizens with ecodrive were more practical; thanks for explaining that the dial color would change in case of solar charging capability.
Ha! I was thinking the hands reminded me of a sarb & then one appears. If only this existed before the Oceanus ( lovely watch but the properietry bracelet has caused me iissues). I hope Seiko adds this colour to the dresskx ( probably never going to happen..).
Got the watch a couple of days ago and I'm absolutely not satisfied! The LumiBrite is not working at all, the color isn't blue but greyish. It's really hard to read the time, that's a no go for me. The worst is the bracelet. I shortened it to fit my wrist and lost the first pin after 2 hours of wearing it. I lost the second pin the next day, so this technique is not working out at all. Of course I used the spring. It just doesn't hold. If you've worn automatic watches before, this piece will shock you a litte, because it's so light in weight. The glass is not antireflective, so I had a bad moment while driving and got blinded by the reflection. I paid 250€ for this watch, but in my opinion it's not worth the price. Will send it back.
Hey Guys, does anyone know if there are spare links for the Seiko SUR307? The band is too tight and I tried the micro adjustments and are still uncomfortable for me. If half links aren’t an option, any watchbands that would fit and suit the style that you can recommend? Thank you!🙏
I'm not able to find spare links for sale. Maybe if you contact Seiko support? Otherwise, there are plenty of strap options if you don't mind straight end links www.strapcode.com/collections/20mm-watch-band
Excellent review of a classy watch. It would have been a good watch for me had the case been 35 or 36mm and they had either dropped the date, or made the date wheel the same colour as the dial. Cannot understand the fad for overly large watches, especially when it comes to dress watches.
I like this watch, and I was interested in it, after I had a few problems with my automatics. But it's $330 here. Way too expensive. As for negatives it also doesn't have solid end links. And from what I see in your video, there is that thin line on the edge of the links, like they are folded or pressed from two pieces. A bit of a shame because it looks great, and I always wanted a titanium watch in my collection.
@@watchify1775 That's a nice price. I would buy it for $200 or less. At over $300 in Europe, I could find some deals for older models on sale, like Certina DS with ETA 2824-2. I still like the looks of this Seiko...Aghhhh. :)
@@Ab01-p6p It feels lightweight due to the titanium. Most people associate that with being cheap. Once you get past that, yes it does feel high quality. I probably should have gotten the darker blue dial version
Interesting. I was just thinking about second hands recently. They never stay accurate, even on quartz watches so what is their real purpose? I think maybe more tradition of seeing something ticking. Someone could easily remove it though 😁
Good observation. When people say two micro adjustment holes that really means only one adjustment can be made. Very common with this type of Seiko clasp
Had the same experience! LumiBrite is not working at all, the watch is really hard to read and the bracelet is a fucking joke. Doesn't seem to be fake though. Got all the papers and stuff. Still not a good watch and I'll send it back.

For sure. I was surprised by how light it was also. The dark blue one is probably the one I should have gotten instead. I later sold mine.
Me I bought SUR 461 neo classic
I just bought one from Usagi Import on eBay... I cant wait to get it
Nice. Still a great watch. I see they are selling for around 180$ USD

I generally agree. Seiko would say that their Hardlex is better than regular mineral crystal. I have never had problems with Hardlex scratching.
I got the SUR356.... 2 tone with a grey dial

Got the green one with gold, I love it
SUR377. Nice looking watch! Currently featured on the page header of Essentials section of Seiko's website.
I am a lot confused, many people said the dial color is Black, Gray and Blue hahaha.... What is the correct one . Thank you !
I sold mine but I would describe it as a grayish blue. Reminded me of the color of old blue jeans.
Mine is like dark gray 😕
@@watchify1775 why did you sell? you didn't like it?
Is it fully titanium or plated?

Thanks. At first I was into larger watches but gradually evolved to appreciate 38-40mm case size. 35mm seems too small for my taste though
For the anti-scratch than super titanimun cityzen watch
Which battery used in this model AGAW407
Hard to say. No info on Seikos website at all on caliber 6N52 nor elsewhere on internet or in packaging. I'd have to open up watch to see

ok. I think Seiko had to cut some corners in order to hit a certain price point. In the US they can still be found online for under 200$

What’s the Different between this and the SUR373 ?
SUR373 has a darker blue dial

so how is it in person, dose it feel cheap or expensive and high quality?do u recommended?

I have one but why not glow in the dark
I'm not sure if you mean why doesn't it have a backlight feature or rather, that the lume on dial and hands doesn't work on yours
I'm gonna sound crazy but if this didn't have a second hand I think it would be perfect

Less go!!!!
Good review. Love Seikos that only have the date. I have the sur307 stainless steel silver dial.
$118 amazon.
nice watch - 307 dial almost looks white in pics online - thanks!
@@watchify1775
Yes it is more white than silver. A creamy white.
I received the 307 from Amazon just last week. I just love the styling and the clean dial. It has a splash of color and just enough sparkle.
great looking dial, but one micro adjust = no sale

Hi i just ordered this same watch. Lumibrite not working is mine fake? Can u help me I bought mine on legit seiko store in lazada
Never heard of Lumibrite not working. You sure? I'm not familiar with Lazada and have not ordered from them before.

I'd love this if it had solar.
I've heard others mention that. I don't think dial would be able to have same appearance and texture though
Check out Casio Lineage . Solar + Titanium + Cool dial+ Radio sync and much more.
So just go and buy a solar watch instead.
