Always start with you lightest colour first then add the darker paints slowly until you get the colour your looking for

Hello Clive, It is nice to meet you. I have been playing around with learning to paint for about 5 years. I took a few art classes paid for by a friend. The instructor showed me a few brush strokes and basically, that was it. I have been working with these strokes for all this time. I have finally put everything else aside to study art seriously. I love that you teach everything from the ground up, including how to handle canvases. And you give reasons for your thought process. This helps me because things need to make sense there must be a reason and I told you to do it that way doesn't go with me. I love the way you teach. So I said all this to say, THANK YOU !!!
