I sent the phase 3 space elevator at 140 hours on the save, and sent the phase 4 elevators at 290 hours. That time was spent over about 2 months and more than once I walked away with the game running to take care of somehting and didnt get back to it until the next day or something similar. If i had to give an estimate, Id say i spent 30 hours actually playing and another 30 or so doing the filming, with the remaining 60-80 afk, but that wasnt all dead afk time as i relied on large stockpiles of parts to make building faster and easier.
haha thanks, Im doing a final episode of my LP to release tonight or tomorrow, then a supercut of my gameplay timelapses. thatll be it til after 1.0 comes out on tues and we will be starting fresh!
In the early part of this timelapes it looks like he still only has MK.1 power lines idk if thats normal tho cuz i almost always speed to MK.2 and 3 as fast as i can
Yeah this one of my biggest concern in Satisfactory, the landscape is annoying, bcs you can't terraform it, unlike most of the survival/factories games out there. I have 500h in the game but never finished it, not even on my first save, got tired after constructing my first nuclear reactor. The game is great but so tedious and requires a ridiculous amount of factories in the end game, so ridiculous that I think they should add something like: - Constructor Mk2, Mk3... - Smeltery Mk2, Mk3... So this way we don't have to put literally 20 smelteries and 40 constructors just to build a fricking factory in the late game.
@@iSomeDood It's not a jab against the author. I just think that the video could easily be made more educational if built in a way that more resembles how people actually would at this stage of the game. He could even put links to used blueprints in the description/pinned comment, which would be doubly helpful while also boosting video engagement.
@firefly8800 on my playthroughs, I rarely use blueprints. Sometimes it seems more cumbersome dealing with them. If I use them its something easy such as smelter or constructor setups.
@@firefly8800 not many people actually use blueprints, and for the ones that are, they're making videos like these and are good at making efficient factories and are much more experienced in the game, BUT even then, not all of them use blueprints
I like figuring out the build just by watching, like the use of smart spillters was really cool!
Man the use of the sushi belts for te nuclear power plant is just crazy ! Great idea and exellent work !
Can't wait for 1.0
Absolutely love the whole series. Fantastic work. Got a few new build styling ideas from this! Thanks Dekoba, helps a lot!
imagine you turn a planet upside down for your company and all you get as a reward is a mug of coffee 😂
Another amazing video! I'm new in satisfactory (100h) and I'm amazed at what you're doing. I'm really waiting your next video)
EPIC MAN !!!
This video makes me so excited for 1.0 I wish I could play it today
How long did this take you? Just the buildings in Tier 7-8?
Great effort, was amazing to watch!

Thats some catchy music 😂
hey i wanna ask. what is the kinda black foundations you are using? they look so clean, but maybe thats just because its so high up
Asphalt is the solid black
@@Dekoba really? why does it look so clean in your world usually even concrete is cleaner than asphalt
Very nice! :-)
Ready for 1.0?
I am very excited for it. Ive been getting more and more hyped as we learn more about it.
@@Dekoba wil you be doing a new safe for us to catch along?
@YukicxU absolutely! I'm very excited. I am torn between trying to plan everything in advance and letting the game surprise me.
@@Dekoba can't wait! Happy to see new videos 😄
All without blueprints?! 🤯🤯🤯
How do you get the recording of you building in the third person free cam?
Ficsit cam mod
Don't forget to put a link to part 4 on your part 3 vid. I almost didn't find this part.
Thanks! Fixed

I have the latter ones unlocked but I never bother to use the upgrades. Maybe I'll try it in 1.0
@@Dekoba oh ok i was worried XDDD
Is this ficsit cam mod?
Yep

why did the developers make the landscape, the world, the earth, if you build everything in the sky
well this was all built over water. you cant build in water.

Why no blueprints? Just so you can make a time lapse? This seems like a massively inefficient way to build at this stage of the game.
It was for the time lapse probably
you may build your own factories however you please
