Props to mocap actors, acting so naturally while wearing those suits without feeling silly or crossing. Lane Compton really nailed it for Donovan's character
Yeah and to memorize all that dialogue and also actually put emotion and gestures to make look real kinda prefer mafia 3 as a movie because of the good cutscenes

Am I the only one that really-really likes the character Donovan? There's something about him that's so cool and powerful. Seeing the person behind the character, I like him as well now!
He’s pretty much the fan favourite of Mafia 3, awesome character
He's the best kind of character - the one where you can't tell if they're crazy, or just ahead of the curve. The reveal at the end shows he wasn't just a sidekick; he had an agenda of his own. His actions drove the story just as much as Lincoln's.

I also enjoyed it, my only issue was some bugs and glitches. There's a lot of criticism towards the gameplay but i don't really mind it. I would give it 7/10
@@diskmort I liked the game, but the game no longer allows me to even play it for some reason, so it feels like I wasted a lot of time with it since I had issues with the game from the start.
I've probably rewatched that second cutscene about a million times and just now I realized that Giorgi taking the money plates is what triggered the vault's alarm.

NLrenzo No. I don't think he really knew it was a separate alarm, or if he did, it's because he knew Lincoln could fight and took the risk. He intended them all to survive because Sammy's bar burning down was the perfect cover for their deaths.

3:06 is probably one of my favorite cutscenes
It shows so much emotion, and how Clay feels guilty for something he didn't really have control of. And Donovan talking him down is pretty nice, shows their brotherly bond.
I love the fact that they don’t even feel embarrassed or awkward or anything, just acting like a normal actor does

I did like mafia 3 but let's be honest.. this game should have not be called mafia.. is more like a gta to me, but you can't compare this game to mafia 2 or for example mafia definitive edition ( mafia 1 ) but either way the game is good I had a lot of fun with this game but it doesn't look like a mafia game to me....

Lincoln met a lot of people on his side but none stood out like Donovan. The jokes and the relationship was awesome! Great job to the voice actor for bringing Donovan to life!

Donovan was such a cool, badass, and lovable character that I always wanted a mafia spin off game of him doing missions, hunting down not just the assassins of JFK but all the people, the whole ladder up. He can work his way up even a foreign country and infiltrate them and then it all comes back to the US where the final boss is a royalty family in a giant ass palace and he has to pick them off 1 by 1 with his own options and creativity. There would be like 30 people he has to do that to. And then for the final, final boss, he can take put the king. Then the DLC could be him taking down the people who ordered him to hurt those people in Vietnam. Like a revenge sort of DLC.

Hey @Modded Games, I was recently playing mafia 2 and I was doing the mission “A friend of ours.” and I got to the point where Francesca tells Vito about Eric, so I then used the no clip feature on the trainer mod menu (Thank you for that.) as it turns out every thing is already spawned in, so I no clipped through the apartment and saw Eric and was curious what would happen if I shot him and apparently once I did the screen faded to black like a cut scene was supposed to happen, but it never loaded and I was curious if there was a secret scene where there was an option to kill Eric?
The black "cutscene" is simply the game not knowing what scripts to load next since you altered the flow. There's no secret scene since you can look at ALL the scripts that play for a specific level (everything that happens). But that's a pretty funny thing to do haha.
Still playing this masterpiece ..
