Everything right is a exaggeration. The technical flaws were things I would expect during the ps2 area. I've started playing yesterday and really like the game, but Jesus Christ it's been a big downgrade in the graphical aspect. But I must say, the story and the animation are pretty good.
things it did right imo : the *music* , *gunplay* , characters and story things it did wrong imo : *mission design* (sometimes they feel like a chore), *performance* (that ugly mirror is still there), bugs like vehicles dissappearing (like the trucks vito asks you to steal) or optional missions dissappearing unless you load yur saved file
Mafia III had so much potential. The way they told the story as a documentary was awesome. The soundtrack, characters, plot... I loved how they tried something new in a classic mafia history. Unfortunatly they didnt spend much time in gameplay and performance.

Literally, Paulie puts you in the mob and in a dangerous game, Joe puts you in Jail twice and make you serve in godamn ww2. But John Donovan was already there in vietnam and you also survived there because of his tips. That's why I think the original crew of Lincoln wasn't in campaign tbh since they might are all dead by the events of the game

There's these things called "nail clippers" and you're supposed to use them in what's called the "bathroom." He's using possibly rusty side cutters with his feet up on his desk!

The lack of polish, details and the anti white bs doesn't help either. But ye, the game had it's fair share of strong points. Mostly the characters and dialogue.

I bought this and returned it after 2 days of playtime. No air vehicles, extremely frustrating repetitive missions, and just ps2 era graphics in a lot of areas. Mercenaries and mercenaries 2 now they were great open world games with nice graphics and solid mission structure.
I just finished Mafia 3 and I dont think I saw some of these cutsences of him, is it posibble to not get them? I've gotten bugs so I may be missed few cutsences.
