Hey! I work for AVerMedia, mainly running socials. This was a great feature of the PW513! Some may call it a downgrade, but I actually STOPPED using my DSLR as a webcam and switched to the 513 for my streams - mainly bc I use my DSLR for more than just streaming and wanted convenience. However, between lighting, CamEngine adjustments, and RTX broadcast's background blur (at a low level), I got my PW513 to look not only like a DSLR, but a DSLR with an expensive lens. I'm ofc biased in saying this, but I 100% agree it's the best dedicated webcam on the market, and thanks again for the review!
Thanks for this video! I purchased the Avermedia pw513 before you made this video. I spent a lot of time reviewing the options then bit the bullet and went with the only 4k webcam available, for many of the reasons you outlined in this video. Then I purchased a Canon R5, and wondered whether I had wasted my money, but nope! I need them both, and hopefully, won't have to worry about webcams for a while! I'll be checking out some of your other content later!
Thanks for helping me understand the difference in quality. I already have the Logitech C920 for a few years. I will get Avermedia. I’m working on doing piano tutorials and need a good overhead webcam. What do you think of the quality of Nextigo and Red Dragon webcams?
"Fire" Absolute Fire. And I appreciate the clean language. AMAZING content. Now if only I could figure out how to install on my mac as you did on your PC ... 🔥
Thanks for the great info and saving me from buying a webcam that wouldn't cut it! I was going to purchase the Logitech C922 thinking that was good enough. After watching your video, I upgraded to the AverMedia PW513.
Great review. But now I have a question: In the reviews on Amazon, the AverMedia PW513 is rated negatively on one point, it gets very hot. Can you confirm it?
Question, could the brio be set up in the back of a church and zoom in to a wide shot of just the front area of the church? I was trying to use a camcorder, but that is not going to work at all. Thank you
Hi Awall, do I need multiple video capture cards for me to setup multiple webcams?? Or will a HDMI switcher work to switch between cams? Does that make sense?
Hi Awall, Love the review. I am considering buying either the PW513 or The combo Camlink and Lumix.I have a few questions about it. I am kind of a noob. First question is: I love the wide angle of the PW513, if i take the Lumix Body, can i put a lens on it, with the same wide angle as the PW513? (My guess is: yes) Second question: I dont like to buy second hand, and the G7 is an older model, that i cant find new. I think the successor is LUMIX DMC-G80 i think? Would this be a good modern alternative? Third question: Does it require a lot more technical insights and configuration? I never invested time in technical aspects of these camera's, and i am to busy to do so. Last question: are there any disadvantages when using something like a lumix? I once heard that some camera's wont alow you to use it with a power cord (so only on battery).

After seen this (and some other reviews) I bought my self a PW513 to replace my Logitech Brio. Long story short, I sent back the PW513.
@@marcrestorations492 I have the Kiyo Pro now and I compared it with the Brio. Night and day difference. Kiyo Pro blew the Brio out of the water and the HDR feature was really impressive. You can see inside my RGB PC and you can even see the street and the trees outside my bedroom window. Colors are really impressive. I'm extremely happy with it I gotta say. I like how it comes with a cap also. Avermedia looks a little too large and unwieldy to me and I don't feel like I'm missing out.
I do agree i have the Avermedia. It is a great webcam as long as you know how to set it up and have some proper lighting. I am still temped to get a DSLR with a camlink. But i don't know which budget option i have in Germany because I have no clue about cameras 👌 nice video keep up the work
i really enjoy the logitech brio i brought this last year march or april for 170€ before the price was rising too 350€ and know the brio is at the price point of 150€ and the avermedia pw513 for 180€ thats really ok
It's called Logitech Brio 4k or Brio Pro now. The other, newer Brio models are inferior more or less proportional to their cost. Better update that video header.
Same as everyone else, no comparison of microphone quality. AS IF everyone is going to have a $300 broadcast mic while zooming. Did you know your voice is even more important for being understood than the camera?
You are the most underrated TH-cam creator. Period!
Best comment ever

Yeah, I use my 513 for all of my consulting calls because it’s just easier than using a DSLR and the quality is similar enough.
Would love to know how I can work more closely with Ava media if you are interested in chatting please DM me on Twitter: @AwallDigital
nobody makes a DEPSTECH 4k Webcam review, for me THATS one of the most underrated Webcams
Our world would be a much better place if everyone did their jobs with your passion and energy.

Thanks for the info and comparison. Is it just me or does the Brio seem far more crisp than the PW513?
What setting do you use for the Lumix? I have a GH4, but it lags a bit, not as smooth as yours. Thanks. Great videos. All of them.
Awall I have the brio because of you.. And in my opinion you are so underrated.. your content is so informative.. thank you awall
I saw your earlier video on the Logictech and it got it based off that recommendation and I love it. It does everything I need for my podcast.

How do you like the Aver Media VS Elgato FaceCam?
Thank you for the video. May I ask which lens are you using on your Lumix G7 Camera setup - is it 14-140mm or 14-42mm?
14-42
@@notcorruptmedia Got it! Appreciate the quick response.

If I get a hyperx quadcast s along with speakers, will it catch the speakers audio? I'm seeing that you also use speakers
I thought about purchasing two averimedia webcams to use for streaming. Do you think it would be any issues?

thank you for your question and surely we will make a video about this topic soon!
Thank you sir! Very helpful info .
Logicapture is cool but once I screen record zoom session, my system crashed.

The PW513 is only slightly better than the logitech brio. These cameras are very very comparable.
Thoughts on the Razer Kiyo Pro? It's not 4k so I'm not sure if it would be in the same conversation.
Not up to this level.

Can you do a Review on the rode podmic?
sure!
Does Avermedia have HDR?
Review the Razr pro and compare it to the Avermedia
sure! thanks for the idea!

How about showing the Zoom!!!! If that was the only thing about the Brio that is better, why not show the Digital Zoom on the 513?
??? At Best Buy, the PW513 is $230.98 (regularly $239.98), the Brio is $249.99. He needs to check his facts.
If you move the box, one can not see it and read what it says on it.
You are a bit nervous at times just cut the nervous parts out or do a reshoot but apart from that you are up and coming well done and good luck🙂
Thanks for the tips!
thnx!!
No worries!
thanks so much your videos have help me get to 45k in subs thank u!!!!
