I just did a video on the Brio I bought yesterday...and I hated it...sent it back. Your new Avermedia PW513 and your presentation prompted me to buy it from Amazon...($166,00 now), so I'm crossing my fingers that it'll do what I need it to do. Thankyou! JT
i bought it a few month ago and i am really happy. the only issue: you need a good USB-HUB or a direct (long) cable to the PC, otherwise it get's unstable due to high data rate.
So, I'm a pro sound engineer and AV tech. I just spent 2000$ on recording equipment and cards for live-streaming - only to be told that I'll have to broadcast to pro standards for my company all by myself... and we're talking full bands with 2-3 cameras. It's on special for 170 CAD on Amazon. You just saved my life. I'm serious.
Nice video, but the comparison would be even better without that tunnel animation in between. So you can see the direct comparison! Thanks for the advice though.
Don't do it. I've bought 2 of these, both have garbage quality. I have no idea how they make theirs look so good. I have studio lighting, i have done all the firmware updates tweeked the software and the image still looks worse than my C920X ($70) webcam. I bought a second one thinking the first one MUST be defective. Nope it's a headache to get it to even look half decent. The Brio is simpler and DOES look great. I wish the Avermedia looked as good as they say it does. 2/10 do not recommend.

I love the result of the AVerMedia in your video but some other reviews showed many complaints on noisy grain... This price range is not an issue. I bought the nexigo 680, it was really jerky. I have a new high end gaming laptop and want a webcam. Wish I had seen your video before I bought it. I'm sending it back same day I got it. It was real jerky as if I was on an old dialup. And I have interent speed of 1gig. So I know it wasn't my internet. And my laptop is totally high end gaming with 32gig of ram and Asus Rog Strix G17 with rtx 3070 graphics card. So, don't think it's my computer but the webcam. Going to try your recommendation.
BRIO was underwhelming to me, also tried GoPro 7 over HDMI input (which totally sucked and is only 1080), IMO, to my liking, the PW513 looks BETTER and more crisp than the DSLR.

In my country(India) the cost for logitech brio is $333(original price-$200) and for Avermedia PW513 is $350(original price-$250) in amazon. So with the increase in price($100 more) would you still recommend buying these webcams or save some more money and buy a DSLR/Mirrorless camera(for example canon m50-$675) or any other low budget cameras.
If you can afford it, grabbing a budget DSLR will be much higher quality than any webcam! I just bought this at Staples and it just keeps freezing and lots of lag on the video not my voice but the video. I used OBS with it to stream on my TH-cam channel. Help!!!
It's only good if you have football stadium lighting. It has zero low light capabilities compared to even the most basic logitech c615. Even two 6500k lights aren't enough unless if you have them directly on your face.

This video had no editing, and I don’t edit my videos at all. It’s a necessary part of transitioning between multiple 4K cameras life without having to glitch out. I have to give them a moment to load up as I switch between scenes. Sorry you don’t like it, but that’s the current format otherwise I have to spend triple the time making these videos by putting it into an editing suite.
@@awalldigital hey thanks for replying. Don't get me wrong, loved the video otherwise :) Are you using OBS? I haven't tried it before. So it glitches out if the transition is set to `no transition` ? Sorry, haven't worked much with 4K & never tried it. Or maybe just a transition that doesn't throw you off the color memory of the image so much? Like a neutral grey? Thanks again! :)
@@TheDearRecorded OBS glitches out sometimes when directly switching cameras. I experience it when changing between C920s. The transition gives camera 1 time to turn off, and time for camera 2 to turn on. Have tried both on at the same time, but it also glitches out where i need to physically to unplug and replug the camera to get it to work. So what he's doing is literally the only feasible option without so many issues. Also need to remember he's doing this all live, so if he's streaming on twitch/TH-cam like he normally does its already apart of his setup, which is like most high quality streams already do.

You can still recommend the Logitech. It's a fantastic webcam imo

The difference with even the brio is enormous. I'm work with images... the color and definition is so, so much better.

Your computer is probably outdated to handle the camera. Try lowering the quality down to 1080

Nice video. But muti-colored, flashy long transitions aside, just wish you didn't put ANY transitions in a comparison video on image/video quality...
