Ohh Rachel what a lovely video you have done . I felt as I was there . Last time I was there was in 2019 , then Covid hit us & the year after 2021 my Darling died of aggressive cancer with in weeks of being diagnosed. So till I can go again as I’ve elderly Westie & he’s my world , I have to enjoy hearing about it from my friends . Now you’re videoing it , it’s like I’m there .Thank-you young lady & I can wait to see what you video over the next couple of days & then maybe you’ll,show us what you bought too , when you get your breath back ., enjoy tomorrow as well . Sorry for your loss. Blessings to you for putting your Westie in such priority over other things you enjoy. I was the primary caregiver of our aging and ailing sweet doggie -- she was my unofficial emotional support dog and I was her emotional support person; we were inseparable, if she was not also invited somewhere, I would not go. All the best to you and your Westie.

I was there today, my first time attending. I would have said hello, but I didn't see you. I went to Barry's fabrics yesterday and a fabric stall at Birmingham market. I've spent a small fortune altogether! But I'm very happy with my purchases. My favourite buy was from the market stall, of mid century chairs, I love it and very reasonably priced too. Looking forward to seeing what you bought too. :)

Hello Rachel, so wish I’d seen you yesterday to say hello, I did keep my eyes peeled. I had to catch my train back to North Wales and that’s when you were probably filming. What a fabulous festival it is. I did two days a few years ago when I last came down but thought it would be too dangerous😁this time. The exhibition quilts were amazing, some extremely talented people out there. Look forward to seeing your purchases and thank you for filming this as it’s always good to look back on. What a fun time we had with you viewing all the lovely fabrics and kits. Part of me was desperately wishing I could be there with you, but the other part was grateful for my bank balance sake! I have the Winkly Star pattern and templates by Jen Kingwell. It was love at first sight. I haven't started it yet as I am determined to finish a couple of other projects before I concentrate on it. But very excited to start it.
Thank you for showing us around, so envious of you lucky people to be able to go there. I would have to be restrained as I just loved all you showed us. Keep stoping and starting your video to get names of outlets. Anyone in the south west have recommends for shops I would appreciate your help. I was there and said hello and you really brightened my day too. It was such a great day, I took my daughter for the first time and she loved it too. She's not a quilter but loves making the toys from kits. I was exhausted at the end too but had a long journey back to Somerset afterwards. I got home, made a cup of tea and looked through all my bargains. Have a great time back at the show and I can't wait to see what you've bought.

The critters are too cute and i would love to make each and every one of them! I'm hoping this is what Houston will be like when i get to go there in October for the big show there. I love Jen Kingwell patterns! I’ve made Winki Stars - it’s sooo many pieces but so satisfying. You can machine piece it and the templates are still useful for accurate cutting. I did hand piece mine. You can also hand piece the blocks then machine sew the blocks together to go a bit faster.
Editing to add - the pattern is in her book Quilt Recipes. Did they have the book too? It is my favorite quilting book ever. So beautiful.

Hi Rachel, just found your channel & wanted to say a big thank you for the great job you did of showing us around. Such amazing, different crafts, I think if I had gone I would have spent a fortune. Beautiful fabrics & the exquisite toy animals had me spellbound. I sew clothes, make a few bags/toy & needlepoint but nothing to that level. Thank you & look forward to your next video. Ali 😊

Loved your tour and I was a newbie this year and visited on Saturday from Belfast! Could have spent 2 days instead of one 😂 I love that I can look again through you and see things I missed! Wow! Such beautiful things. The quilt shows that I have been to where I live in Canada are not that big and have about 6-12 vendors depending on the size of the venue, usually the local small town arena.

Yeah quilted shoes.. they were amazing. It was a kit that included the soles, eyelets, and other bits you needed.

Great video thanks Rachel. Ended up expensive - bought a kit I saw which turned out to be an Australian designer which is handy as that's where I live! I already have the Edward's Menagerie book too. I made an error with the Alice Caroline stand, I didn't go in the morning, and by the evening, the stand needed a restock, so I am going straight there today 🤣
