Hello Rachel, I would be interested to see a tutorial on the Daisy and Grace templates too. I'm presently working with one of her hexi templates, but it would be interesting to see how some of the different shapes are worked. Loved seeing all of your purchases. I have ordered Eli elephant and also the flat cap pattern from Lilly Rose. I'm really looking forward to getting that. There are so many others I wanted, but Eli was the one who initially caught my eye from your FoQ video, so I had to have him first 😂 I have lots of the Daisy & Grace templates too. Daisy and Grace seemed to be the only ones selling house shapes as I want to make a quilt with them. Very strange for such a simple shape. I now have two sizes. I hadn't thought I'd see them at the FOQ so had a look at their stall. Looking at a few UTube videos of people's visits I could swear I was at a different Show😂!! I had a day on Thursday and part of Saturday before I had to give up and get home as I'd toured a few sights of Coventry on the Friday and was so tired and had a train journey with two changes to manage with my luggage. Haven't been since before Lockdown so knew what to expect but enjoyed myself seeing old friends and beautiful quilts.
I have considered their house shape aswell, are you going to leave it as a house shape or make it into a plus quilt style? They were in a strange position at the FOQ, they were facing the back wall so easy to miss. Sounds like you had a tiring weekend but so worth it!

I would love to see a tutorial on the quilt as you go Rachel. Join the sock gang! I watched simply in stitches tutorials and she made it so easy with step by steps. I will do a process video next week for the QAYG, yeah its definitely nice and efficient on fabric, especially important with tilda fabric because I tend to hoard that!
