Thank you to everyone who let me know about my mispronunciation of Skagit Woolen Works! It's important to me to share correct information and pronunciations, so I am so sorry about getting this one wrong. Skagit is pronounced ska-juht!
I think going around and asking people what they bought today was an absolute keen endeavor on your part Nat. Would like to see you do more of that in future festivals. 😊
That was so fun. At 75 i dint get out very much. So i want to thank you for taking me along and sharing your trip to Flock! I had a great time and new have new yarn wants and new ideas!
Thank you for a great video! It was so well filmed and produced, very professional quality. You have inspired me and now I want to go to Flock Fibrefest next year! Any ideas from anyone on fun things to do in the Seattle area?
This video was great. You and Kent did a great job of covering Washington! So nice to see Washington colored in on the map. Can’t wait until next year!
Thank you for sharing all of the Washington vendors!!!! So many Flock recap videos feature dyers popular on social media only. As a Washingtonian, I could go to Flock but haven't due to my feelings on festivals and overconsumption. However it's nice to have a list of folks I can check out when I am in the market for a purchase!
Well, you managed to make me homesick. 😅 I'm a Washington woman living in a Virginia world. I've spent a lot of time at different events in the Convention Center. Wish the fiber show would have been there before I moved. Looks great.
Ok I think this is why I didn't go to the market. We have SO many yarn shops in the area! But having them all together and seeing so many knitters sounds like a blast. I hope I can make it next summer 😊
I think I need to visit my family when Flock is happening. You have where my appetite on this one.I grew up north of Bellingham (where Spin cycle and Apple yarns) is located. I was going to correct you on Skagit too. 😉
Is Vermont one of your destinations on the east coast. There's many nice yarn stores I have been to. Especially if you are going to be in Albany or Lake George area. The Village yarn store in Granville is a lovely store. Then you could go to Green Mountain yarn and fiber to Bristol VT then to Shelburne VT to SaintAlbans VT. From Saint Albans you could hit the yarn stores near Waterbury to woodstock quiche gorge then to Lebenan and Claremont area yarn stores. I hope I'm able to run into you when you're on the east coast. Out of the Yarn store I've listed is the Village Yarn Store in Granville, NY is my go to because how friendly they are and the flow of the store. Including a coffee table with a wrap around couch. Under the coffee table you will find patrerns and an assortment of buttons. If you're in need of a haircut on your travel, Twisted Scissors is a good place to go to. My friend Amy is amazing at what she does. I hope to see you soon. Peggy.
It was fun, but so sad you didn’t highlight Serial Knitters or Apple Yarn! They are two of the big indi dye groups here in Washington. I LOVE them both!
Lovey video and coverage of the festival but PLEASE PLEASE learn to pronounce Skagit and Ellensburg properly!. The "g" in Skagit is pronounced as though it were a "j" as in ska juht and the city Ellensburg has an s in it. Having said that, thank you so much for appreciating Washington yarns!
@@Cassandra-..- Sure does! I think it must be challenging for non Washitonians. I hope people don't take my plea too seriously. All our maker podcasters do such lovely content and I appreciate them so much.
I don’t attend fiber fairs in Seattle, because of the crime on the streets. The mask requirement was nuts also. Seems like people could just let that go. But it is liberal/progressive Seattle and they have no idea where they’re going.
It’s so funny-every time I watch one of these recap vids I see things I didn’t get the chance to see while there!! Doh! 😅 I definitely have a game plan for next year to make sure I see everything. 🩵

I have serious FOMO! Thank you for giving us this glimpse and sharing so much information about the vendors.
Thank you for sharing! It was so fun to "tag" along virtually. Everything looked absolutely mesmerizing.
I think going around and asking people what they bought today was an absolute keen endeavor on your part Nat. Would like to see you do more of that in future festivals. 😊
Yes, I feel spoiled here in Renton, WA where I’m a short drive from so many yarn shops

Thanks so much for sharing the Washington vendors. I’ll have to check out their sites.
Thank you, so many gorgeous skeins.

I was going to correct you on Skagit too. 😉
I don’t see the links for the vendors. Planning a trip to Washington and info would be useful.
This is awesome I'm hoping to move back to Washington next year so hope I can attend
Ooh yay!!
Knitting on my Traveler hoodie that Natalie inspired me to knit while watching Natalie walk around a fiber festival in her Traveler hoodie...
Ahhh it’s the best!
That looks like so much fun. Darn, they were out of the Sasquatch in worsted lol.

What is that gorgeous sweater you are wearing? It looks like Andrea Mowry x

Aww I know! We missed some good ones. There are just so many!
I could spend a lot of $ there!
It's Skagit, G pronounced like a J. lol.
Thank you!!
I wish we had big shows like that around here, and I mean less than 4 hours one way. Sigh.
I would hear bout this weeks after the fact 😔
Just to let you know...Skajit soft g not hard g.
Ahhh thank you so much! Sorry about that!

Thank you so much! I really hate pronouncing words incorrectly, especially places and names, so this hurts me to my core. 😮💨
WA has a lot of tricky names.

There's just so much to see! I think it'd be impossible to get to everything!
