Another one saying "just replace the EGR valve"! (a) they are supposed to get dirty. It's part of their normal operation. (b) they are supposed to be removed and cleaned every 50k miles. Why on Earth would you replace a perfectly working component. It's like saying "if there's a little dirt on your car battery, replace the battery".
The egr only works some of the time, how can spraying awt willy-nilly into the intake work when you don't know if valve is open or closed? If the maff is disconnected then ecu detects a fault so shuts thing like the egr valve down so it is likely not working anyway.
You see that black part there? Well run your hand along it and then the EGR is just behind that silver thing there. Just behind that cable. Can you see where I'm pointing?
Wouldn't like to rev up my car with such spray....prefer new with new moving mechanisms...its more damage on the egr than only what is directly visible
EGR valves for modern cars cost around $300-$400. They get dirty as part of normal operation, and cleaning is more than enough to restore normal operation. It's like saying "if your car gets dirty, have it resprayed". 😄
You will seriously damage a diesel engine if you never rev it above 2000rpm. Carbon deposits throughout the whole engine will not be removed unless you drive through the full rev range as part of normal driving. Unbelievable how little some people know about their cars!
No difference, these such called EGR valve cleaner sprays are not cheap, the one used is around 50 euro. You can buy new EGR valve for less than 70 euro, why waste money on product that not works !
It was a demonstration of the product. That's why he removed it even though it's not necessary when using the product. How can so many people in these comments not see that?
Italian tuneup works every time for me
Ovan spray (Mr. Muscle) does the same!
Absolutely no deference ☹️ . In my opinion works just if you take off and clean the piece.
To many dumb ass comment, thank you for sharing your knowledge
That is why you have to dismountle EGR and clean it with chemicals, but not with this sprays or other stuff.
How did the product remove the rust, clearly cleaned after by hand. Tut tut.... at 4.35
It is still dirty the product does not work properly Ginter Park manually
Was hard to watch how you damageing your engine, becouse all dirt from egr goes into engine
Nonsense.
Por es en inglés soy de Argentina muy bueno
No. Goes out in the exhaust
Or you could replace the egr valve and be done

If your going through the trouble of taking the egr valve off just replace it.
If you have the money to burn go ahead. My sprinter EGR was $245. I cleaned it every 50,000 miles.
@@porkrind3512 are you serious that's ridiculous I was thinking it couldn't be more then 30 dollars

You typed that in Geordie 😄
Blank off the EGR altogether, clean the intake manifold, install a catch can and never look back.
If the EGR is blank, what the point of installing a catch can?
Doesn't The EGR blanking do that job, not the catch can.
0k. That clear the air.
The PROVENT 200 catch can captures the blow by 👍
Where toyota etios egr vol plz show me
You see that black part there? Well run your hand along it and then the EGR is just behind that silver thing there. Just behind that cable. Can you see where I'm pointing?
It's in the engine bay.
Is same for DPF, much time & effort & dirty to clean, new one for 150 euro !
why go to the bother off taking the valve off and not bench clean it
Daniel Ess to show the effect of the product
Exactly. It's amazing some people didn't realize that. I've seen this comment like a hundred times.
It was just to show you the cleaning power of the stuff,
If you’ve had to ask that question then you’re exactly the type of person the product was designed for 🙄
@@audimanuk I don't understand your logic. I have removed and cleaned many egr valves
THUMBS DOWN FOR TEXT TO SPEACH
*speech
The before and after pics are of different EGRs . nice try tho :)
No they are the same
different marks and gouges in the metal suggest not .
Definitely different
It's the same mate
Clearly the same
Fault code will cost as much as a cleaning of the egr valve.
no just get a mate to do it
Wouldn't like to rev up my car with such spray....prefer new with new moving mechanisms...its more damage on the egr than only what is directly visible
before and after --not that great-----if you take it off might as well just get a new one a be assured instead of by chance spraying etc w/work

I'm a Volkswagen mechanic and I found this more frightening than a horror movie.
You should see the water injection into EGR valves on VW Tdi engines. Im sure you would get a heartattack haha.
......or that this would reduce car owners going over the garage for such work.
My question is where all the soot went after?🥴
Obviously into the turbine, catalytic converter and Dpf, damaging them.
😢my strong doubt too is this....from invention of such sprays over a decade....strangely nobody on you tube cleared it....escapers😅
I think I'd just buy a new one off ebay
very good
Super
Robot voice - fail.
Just spray some water will do same
Good i love
its a Renault just scrap the car !
I drive a diesel and I don't think its a good idea to rev engine that high over 2,000 rpm
No wonder so many people have problems with EGR 😄

I would get a new one
Tell this to jeep crd owners, we're a different breed !!!
owners, we're a different breed!!
What a waste of time and money, hardly any differance

clean EGR to fuc* motor
Shite
Errrr.....if you can take it off why not just clean it off the engine? 🤔

by this way it's impossible clean the egr
