This was probably the most detailed and informative take about a part of Panama that I've come across and I've gone through tons and tons of videos. It's much appreciated and keep it up. You have a glowing personality!
I think San Francisco had the vibe of Austin Texas back in the 90's from what i have seen. That is the area i am going to first check out when I visit.
My wife and I live in Edison Park in Panama City. It's a up and coming neighborhood in Panama City. No expats mostly a Columbian/ Venezuelan community. A great neighborhood.
Girl great video, I was in Panama in 2018 for my mom's 70th birthday and I stayed with friends in Punta Pacifica, and since I am familiar with NYC and their boroughs or districts to make it simple who do not know NYC, my preferred area would be Condado del Rey, El Dorado area, Bethania or San Francisco. I like Costa Verde in Chorrera because it is more suburbia and it medium class Panamanians and international, the houses range from 200-500K gated communities. To me it's kind of like a modern version of Yonkers, NY. They have a nice town center, hospitals, Pricemart, lots of restaurants, sumpermarkets. I love San Francisco too but hate the traffic.
Appreciated you adding the screen text of the names it really helped! Would love an update on your perspective of expat areas in an around Panama City!
This channel has become the best hands down when it comes to Panama related content. Thank you! I lived in Punta Pacífica next to the trump tower, punta paitilla, costa del este and bella vista during last year. You can definitely start your own relocation tour company. I know the manager of many hotels in Panama. He is Canadian and I know that idea could be easily sold to him especially during this time.
@@thebruthaknownasp3882 It is a great area, secluded from the usual traffic noise of the city. I stayed at the Venetian next to the former Trump tower, which has another name now and is a great place as well in terms of the third-party services in the building. There are frequent ferry trips to nearby islands like Contadora. In Panama City, besides Punta Pacifica I also really liked, Chanis, Obarrio, Costa del Este and Brisas del Golf
@@thebruthaknownasp3882 You´re welcome. Actually I stayed for 10 days right in the middle of Balboa Avenue overlooking the coast at the "PH H2O at the Ocean" and it was pretty good. The waterfront views are awesome but I wasn´t a big fan of the need of a dehumidifier running 24/7. At the Venetian, I did daily walks to the Balboa avenue´s coastal strip(around 6 pm) until approximately the middle of the strip and then back home. It´s a 25 minute walk from Punta Pacifica to Balboa avenue. It´s difficult describe the restorative and quality sleep I got every night thanks to those walks . I would definitely retire in many parts of Panama. It´s on my list. Happy for you!
I got my eye on Brisas del Golf. That is definitely my style. That new hospital you mentioned and also being family-oriented put Brisas del Golf at the top of my list. Great video and very informative. Thank you!!!!
Thanks for the inside scoop. Nice to hear info from someone who has lived there a long time, has family there, is a mother and knows the culture and language. Very helpful!!! Keep up the good work.
GIRL, you have it knocked! I was born n raised in Panama and am moving back there. Without showing anything, tou have hit the nail on the head! When Inget to Panama I want to look you uo and have you as a friend. Im serious. CONGRATULATIONS again on one of the BEST videos ever !!!!
I lived in Albrook for three years when I was in the USAF @ Howard. It was very beautiful and I was very comfortable there. I was not aware Albrook/Clayton still have housing after the US military left. I can’t wait for the world to safely open back up so that I can travel. Panama my #1 choice to relocate. Thank you very much. You are a wealth of information and I value your honest perspectives.
AFB Howard is now Punta Pacifica. Extremely nice area. The price of a house there is upwards of $400K or maybe even $500K now. I was looking into buying a house there. No way. It also houses many headquarters for international businesses.
Brooklynite from a Panamanian family looking to move to Panama before May 2022 ... Thanks for the info! Heading back for the 3rd time this year at the end of this June
Hello! I just subscribed love your honesty❤️ NYC born and raised so I can totally relate. Considering spending 6 -12 months in Panama. Can you recommend a few sites to find apartments for rent.
Enjoy your videos primarily because l am homesick. Lived in Casco Viejo the last 2 years. You are right, PC has many excellent barios to call home. Looking forward to returning by Spring. Seasons Greetings to all from frosty Chicago. 😎🍸
Thanks for this video! It's a great quick to breakdown. For a visit and then early retirement, I'm looking for areas that are less Americanized; I currently live in South Jersey - too expensive here to retire...I want to wake up and immediately know I'm elsewhere.🤩 I'm looking more at Borquete and places like Bocas del Toro in year 2022. Can you please do a video on them soon?
what is your name vgirl, great piece, we live in costa verde, a new developing and growing area near la chorrera.our community is the hills, all 4 of them are gated with security 24-7, with a great shopping area called market plaza, it has riba smith no 1 super in panama, lots of restaurants and stores. you can buy, we rent, because we chose to buy a beach house near coronado, its heaven, a private community with our own beach area.we have friends in BRISAS, ITS NICE, but not for us, two retirees. be well..
Sis, you're from Brooklyn, and I'm from South Jersey. I'm sure that you already know that the Panama Canal was founded in New York. Just for U.S. East Coast, commarodery sake, I'm mentioning. Panama and the U.S. has more in common than a Columbus centuries ago.
I just wish some prices would have been stated. What is affordable for one person may not be for someone else. Just some examples of rent cost, food cost, nail cost. Some good info, would have helped me more with some price examples.
I am sorry who wants to come to Panama to see like another America. If I come to Panama it is to get away from America, and the means Ihop, McDonnald and the like. I don't want a lot of things that remind me of America period.
This is a great video! Keep the good work. By the way, I wouldn't recommend San Franciso anymore due to safety reasons, kidnappings, shootings, and overall crime in the area which sadly, has been worse for the last year or less. Don't get me wrong, it is a very upper-middle-class area with a great selection of restaurants, schools, strip malls, and more but the area has drastically changed for worse.
She has to stop the "ghetto girl" gestures.
I like being a “ghetto girl “ 🤷🏾♀️

Would you be willing to share what the cost to live there is?
@@ylangylang268 we don't rent we own our condo. So the cost of living is cheap....since we don't have a mortgage.
@@ylangylang268 The cost depends on how you want to live.

Try using African Black Soap for your skin. It's the best for a lot of different skin conditions like KP, acne, and dark spots
I was about to suggest the same
All I use is black soap and coconut oil and my skin is flawless now.
