Bro here with the deep cuts
and yet he still got it wrong... anyone can turn into a gun but ore-13 in the idw comics is what allows him to achieve mass displacement and become a *small* gun. In idw 1.0 shockwave, sixshot, and vos all become guns but are like transformer sized in alt mode or bigger.
Isn’t Shockwave more evil than Megatron? Since he has no emotion he could go down paths that even Megatron wouldn’t dare go
I'd say just as evil but with different motives. Megatron wants power for the sake of being in control, for Shockwave these are just means to an end that is both logical but beyond most people's understanding
Personally, I think shockwave's cold logic makes him more evil than Megatron, as even in his state, Megatron is somewhat redeemable, whereas shockwave is so cold and logical he is willing to collapse the universe in on itself and use the energy within that to power cybertron indefinitely, but its probably up to personal opinion.
PAINFULL EXPEREMENTS
It's certainly open to debate. Shockwave's actions definitely come off as more evil, but his motives are almost always the preservation and survival of Cybertron, it's his inability to feel compassion that lets him cross lines others wouldn't.
IDW's take on Shockwave was once a pretty kind and compassionate dude, then the senate lobotomized him to silence him, but instead created the emotionally-devoid logical monster he is.
@@glory2cybertron, Shockwave has certainly done worse. Though the main diference is that he doesn’t do anything out of malice or hatred, he's just callous to the extreme.

In his San Diego comicon interview though he still thought one of Soundwave's tapes was a DOG!
Transformers being able to eat human food is a complicated question. Usually they can't, but the Insecticons can consume organic matter. Additionally, in Beast Wars, Rattrap and Tarantulas were both depicted eating organic matter (garbage for Rattrap, small mammals and invertebrates for Tarantulas) to no ill effect, although Tarantulas's dialogue implies that this doesn't actually sustain them, and they just do it for pleasure.
The Beastformers are biomechanical.
All I can think about for that question was when Optimus got a mouthful of dirt in revenge of the fallen
Answering “Megatron” for evilest Deception is an immediate way to summon the fandom, considering that guys like Shockwave and Tarn exist

Pretenders only appear human. They can't biologically turn into humans.
They don't turn into humans. They merely adopt the disguise of a human. They are not actual humans
Pretenders adopt the form of humans they don’t transform into humans like they said TRANSFORM, not TURN, so maybe you guys should actually start listening
The other Transformers that switched sides, especially in the main continuity is Wheelie, Brains and Drift in the movies. Mixmaster almost was considered as an Autobot in the second movie. Sentinel didn't count because he was still an old fashioned Autobot who collaborated with the Decepticons in exchange for Cybertron's survival in Dark of The Moon, compared to Optimus and his leadership of newer autobots. Lockdown is also implied as formerly a Decepticon.
And in other continuities Wheeljack switched sides in Armada after believing he was abandoned by the Autobots, Tarn after being tortured and brainwashed by Megatron in IDW, in Shattered Glass Optimus Prime changed sides after being resurrected by Unicron and also in IDW Sunder would constantly change sides after his psychotic breakdown.
I THINK the Constructiconswere originally Autobots, but Megatron had them infected by the Robosmasher, that made them Decepticons.

Pretenders are Transformers that can turn into humans..
They adopt the APPEARANCE of a human, but not transform INTO a human.
They don’t transform into humans. They get an Exo suit disguise that looks like humans.
The Michael Bay pretenders turned into humans.
To be fair pretenders are extremely obscure for most people

Tarn also switched sides, he used to be an Autobot called Glitch before he was captured, tortured and brainwashed into being a Decepticon, even making a faceplate in the shape of the Decepticon insignia to show his devotion to the Decepticons
Orion called Megatron a glitch.
Small correction, He wasn’t captured, brainwashed or tortured by the cons he was convinced to join (Corrupted as Megs called it) because Megatron wanted to prove a point and hurt Orion since Glitch (or Damus as that was his real name) was basically Orion’s bumblebee before Bee showed up, ironically Orion was the one that told Glitch about Megs in the first place being his idol and all

Yes, Transformers can turn into humans ofc.
These are rare, but there are a few in continuities. In the main continuity, we have Alice in Revenge of the Fallen who was a Pretender, and Quintessa who had a human form in the ending of The Last Knight.
And then you have Sari Sumdac, who was exposed to human DNA while still a Cybertronian protoform. Her case is unique for that reason, though. She's kinda a cyborg, though also not.
And, according to Ron Friedman's book apparently they also dine in Los Angeles restaurants
Bayverse aint "main" for 80s kids.
Most fans would prefer it if the Michael Bay movies did not exist.

I was turned off when I learned Hemsworth and Henry were Optimus and Megatron, respectively.
I watched the movie anyway and was sorry I wasn’t familiar with their game. They were excellent! They added so many layers to the characters (kudos to the writers, too!)

Outside the fandom most likely not most eyes are on OP, Bee, Megs and Screamer

Q: Can Transformers turn into humans?
A: Technically, yes, in the episode "Only Human" of season 3 in the G1 cartoons. Rodimus and some Autobots became humans for a while and they reverted back into their cybertronian forms later on.

Sone cybertronians are able to transform into humans via the use of Holoforms, pretender shells, and some even having special mechanisms in order to take on a fleshy physical appearance. A good example is Overlord in Requiem Of The Wrecker

Wading into dangerous territory with the amount of comics, games, and shows this series has had. I'm no expert, and came into things long after G1 but-
#9 - Yes, Transformers can eat organic food, but not recommended. See Beast Machines Season 1, Episode 5.

Also Transformers were able to reproduce in the Marvel Comics continuity back in the 80's but it was a form of mitosis rather than birthing baby Transformers

Megatronus is Megatron's real name who named himself after one of the 13 original Primes.

In the Prime continuity yes, in most, he didn’t even have a name, just a designation. The IDW comics made it D-16, in other he had no name at all.

Saw the movie yesterday and it was so freaking good
In one episode of the G1 cartoon, turned into a mostly human person. Though he still have robotic feet. So they can turn into humans, but in only one specific incident.

You got 3 of those questions wrong and I will answer them right because there is proof:
Who is more popular Optimus or Bumblebee? Bumblebee be because when people first learned about transformers, bumblebee always comes to mind. They also made a movie for and named after Bumblebee.
Do transformers ever call themselves transformers? Yes. In the first movie in the Bayverse, Optimus said it a few times and I think Jazz also did.
Can transformers transform into humans? That is a hard yes. There was an entire scene in TF:ROTF where Alice, a cybertronian that took the form of a human, chases after Sam and Makayla.
So about the question of "Can Transformers turn into humans".... technically, it's a yes. Pretenders can transform into humans.
I am dying internally, because I know too much about transformers biology & history XD

As a 80s kid, i always think Sounwave is better as Decepticon leader. See, Optimus' mouthguard makes him looked like a noble knight and Soundwave looks like an evil knight, and he is way way cooler with his cassettes.
