It made no difference , left or right .Grandmother would then hold the tied end and let the needle hang about 1 inch over the wrist. The needle would begin to swing back and forth in one direction . Depending on the direction would determine the baby be born a boy or girl ... I have watched her do this maybe 4 or 5 times and her answers were always right! Has anyone else ever seen or heard of this?

Not surprised, electro magnetic waves exist in human body and it's just another word for ghosts& spirits, when you play with this, you're summoning things to answer it for you. Test it on something else like tomorrow's weather , "will it rain tomorrow?" etc.... It's possible to get wrong answers as well but with enough practice, you'll get it right. It's more accurate on things you have seen or made contact with, that's why it worked for your granny. I do my practice on poker cards, usually 80 percent accurate. A good way to fortify and strengthen your psychic ability, meditation is the way to go.

I've seen two schools of thought on this question. One suggests storing your pendulum in a pouch to protect it from negative energies. The other suggests to wear it and interact with it to build a strong connection. As already mentioned, use your intuition. However, like other magical tools, it is also suggested that you not allow others to touch or use your personal pendulum. Hope this helps.

Seated at a table, put your elbow on the table to keep it steady, and hold the string so the ring is an inch or so above the table. The theory is that something spiritual moves the pendulum, so it's not you talking to the pendulum, it's you talking to the spirit.

As far as I know, the chamber is not for essential oils or herbs to help but for samples. It's called a sample chamber for use in dowsing. If you are looking for water, you put water in. Looking for gold? Put gold in. That said, do you have personal experience using a sample chamber as you mentioned in the video?
Why wouldn't you try using a better chart to get more meaningful answers (i.e. like a QWERTY chart or ABC charts)? I have conversations with my guides all the time, greatly transcending the "Yes/No" model that seems to be mainstream in the community - and definitely superseding Tarot!

You could try making a pendulum chart. Like a board. What I do is write out the alphabet in a circle on a piece of paper and I’ll put yes on the top and bottom and no on the left and right. I’ll say please show me the yes on the chart. It might take a bit but it works well

My aunt always took her daughters wedding ring , hung it on a chain over her pregnant daughters tummy to find out the gender of her grandchild.

When I first tried it nothing happened and I was kinda upset. It took a while before it actually started moving.
