Before working with a pendulum you must cleanse it with sage. Then, you must state the source of your answers (your highest self). This is very important, because you don't want any negative energies tricking you. Also you should programme it with yes, no and maybe answers. How you formulate your question its very important too. Do not use "Should" or "Would" . Be as specific as you can.. It is in my best interest to trust.....(name of the person).....?
Thank goodness someone else out there knows the correct way. Every one can be different with how the pendulum responds. For me a yes is circular. maybe is left & right and no is forward & back. Ask the pendulum, give me a yes to see what it does and so on so you know the correct answers. Annoying that this lady was clearly moving her arms for a tuition video. I also hold the pendulum in my receiving hand and hang it over my recessive palm. Works every time for me. 💕
It’s the craziest thing that I used this pendulum test over my hand to predict the gender of my child and future kids. It was such an insane thing, that I do believe in all of this. I felt the energy coming from my body and the energy moving the pendulum. Idk it sounds crazy to others but I truly believe that everything has a frequency, positive and negative energy.
The Universe is made up of energetic vibrational frequencies (that is physics, not crazy made up stuff), so yes, the Universe is always responding to our vibrational frequencies., and the pendulum is responding to those energies because the pendulum is an energetic force as well.

I was raised Seventh-day, Adventist by my parents. It never fully took with my mom or me, but my dad was a fanatic. Which is why it’s so shocking to me to think back when one of their couple friends was pregnant the first time, my dad said he knew an “old wives tale“ about tying a string to a pencil, tip down, and hold it over the pregnant belly to determine the gender. So he asked Linda if he could do it and she said sure. The movement of the pencil indicated it was a boy and 4 months later it was, indeed, a boy. When she got pregnant the second time, he did it again and the movement indicated, once again, a boy. They had their second son a few months later. I didn’t think to do it when I was pregnant, but I didn’t need to because my grandmother, who birthed 8 kids, 4 boys, 4 girls, could tell by looking at you whether you’re having a boy or a girl. She knew what each of her own kids were going to be, and every one of her 22 grandchildren and great grandchildren. If your hips spread wide more than you extend out in front, it’ll be a boy. If you’re carrying more belly out front, it’s a girl. At least that’s how it’s gone in my entire mom’s family.
"Yes" and "No" will be different for everyone. And I believe you should check your yes and no answers every time you use the pendulum, because even your yes and no answers can change direction from one time to another.

I fell off my bed one day while I had been trying to self detox. I had some brain swelling and had seizures from a result of the fall and other things. I was “out of it" and pretty much comatose. For like 15 days. During this experience I felt someone take my hand. I was shown many things and the most important thing being we are energy. Used pendulums also with just a thread and a ring. Helped me to detect that fresh milk was the cause of my unpleasant heartburns. Substituted it with almond milk, no more heartburns ever. This was 35 years ago. For myself, though, it turned out that using a biotensor (e.g. those by Professor Oberbach or most others -- I made my own and had them gold-plated) the response is immediate. I wondered if that is so because they are held with the whole hand, involving all fingers rather than just three. I had just cleansed my pendulum before watching your video, I marked my fingers with positive and negative and asked if it was communicating with me, and lo and behold, it moved to answer yes. The best way for me is to ask the pendulum which direction is yes, no and neutral or maybe. You don't need to write on the hand but this idea is great, so great work! I use the pendulum to clear out negative energy from myself and also my home, business, etc. Counter clockwise to move out negative energy and it helps to talk out things when doing this and then clockwise, replacing positive energy. You can also use the pendulam to rate the energy of what you put into your body. For example, swing it over lettuce or veggies and it swings circular. Move it over sugar or salt or cookies or soda pop like coke or anything with high fructose corn syrup and it moves side to side because of the energy. It works differently a little for each person because not all the same things are healthy or not healthy for each individual. Pretty cool and I use it anytime I eat or drink. Great party game lol😉👍🏼

While I try my best to maintain an open minded but skeptical perspective, I do believe that there is sound evidence for what is being demonstrates here, I don't think this woman is legitimate. She just strikes me as a snake oil salesmen. At 5:07 through maybe 6 - something the you can literally see her arm moving the pendulum around while she pretends to be amazed by the power of this pendulum. Keep a skeptical attitude people and don't let yourself get conned. You should never have to pay someone else to gain access to any sort of "spiritual enlightenment" or knowledge.

When I was a kid, "The Amazing Kreskin" and the subject of E.S.P. (extra sensory perception) were at the peak of popularity. Kreskin put out a game that had a collection of props, one of which was a plastic pendulum that came with a card that you held the pendulum over. We had a lot of fun playing with it. Pendulums tie into another interest of my youth, namely, the dowsing rod. I would find a pair of copper wires, bend the ends to a right angle to form handles and play in the park looking for water. I guess I must have been a rather strange boy. I am a skeptic on such matters but the subject of esoteric energy still fascinates me.

This is Lori Bach. Moon, Thank you so much for producing this video! I've been using a pendulum for 10 years. It works wonders and the key is to be focused/centered when asking questions. I primarily use it for choosing food items, shopping for clothing and cleaning out my closets for starters. I highly advise against using it to gain personal information on people as the ego gets in the way of the reading. It's like when I read tarot card spreads for my own personal messages. Sometimes I see the message clearly and sometimes I don't due to my ego/"self" getting involved. There are times other people are needed to give us messages as they will give it from a clearer, detached perspective. You can also use the pendulum to find water sources (like a divining rod) and finding lost articles too. It takes training and patience to use it; however, when you know how to use it properly it is a tool you cannot live without!

Hi Moon! I just found your channel today when I was searching explanation of pendulums. I've never entertained or explored using a pendulum before because they sounded spookey. You explained it so simple and now a Pendulum is not a scary object anymore! I tried your technique, but I somehow did it slightly different and still had accurate results. I found an old chain with a crystal on it, sprayed it with sage and gave it intentions. It accurately responded to my name by moving in big circles so I presume that was for Yes. Then it went up and down for the incorrect name, so that was obviously No. For some reason, after each question, I said thank you and it would stopped moving. Sorry for the long message. People saying she is moving her hand/arm...we all have slight movement even when we think we are keeping still. If you are receiving energy via the pendulum you will notice that the pendulum vibrates and shakes and the point moves first, rather than the end attached to the chain. I use a pendulum and yes she is moving her arm in the direction of the pedulum. The pendulum is not independant of you, the pedulum is moved by your own energy.

so if you believe yr boyfriend is cheating on you, then it would answer yes, even if he is not. if the pendulum answers your belief system then it's fair to say that your belief system could be wrong about his cheating. the pendulum could be answering your own suspicion that you yourself chose to believe in without actual evidence
For me, it seems to read my energy, but for others they would say that it's speaking the truth. Depending on where you energy is at, ie, whether you are aligned with your Source energy or not, I think the results will be different for different people. Hope this helps.
This is why when you use the pendulum you should first ground, center and then connect to high self or source. I would also clear any obstacles and restrictions to High Self so you’re bypassing your conscious mind. The pendulum should be tapping into below your subconscious mind. omg! i tried a different ladies video on how to use pendulums and it didnt work. im like " this crap is fake" I then tried your suggestion. i wrote the positive and negative on my fingers with my homemade pendulum and it WORKED!!! im totally amazed omg!!! what about crystal healers when they hold the pendulum over someone elses chakras. how do you know the pendulum is reading the energy of the healer or the engery of the person laying down??
yes, that is a good question. I know that the healer uses it to read other people's energies. I am sorry, but my knowledge only extends to how the pendulum relates to me. It is hard for me to tell when someone is using it on me. I would use your instincts to determine this. If a healer says something to you and it doesn't make any sense to you, then perhaps the healer is using the pendulum wrong. If what the healer says makes sense to you, then they are probably using it right. Just like having good or bad doctors, you can have good or bad healers. Use your divine instincts with healers

Anyway, I decided to try your suggestions (I just didn’t mark my hands with the + - o. So tried the polarity with my dominant hand (holding crystal pendulum chain in nondominant chain). I haven’t asked it questions or worked with it beyond that. So even if this is just a cool science experiment to show how ours bodies are charged and react to our environment… I’m blown away. I have a black onyx and the point seemed to almost have a magnet-feel for the finger tip I was hovering. I relaxed with my hand (instead of trying to be super still, but I also moved smoothly as I could). When I’d get to the next finger, it would make a very obvious slowing down, and then subtly start the other. direction as I started to get the electric humming pathway connection with the pendulum point and finger. Each finger experienced this pulling pushing sensations / and a gentle buzzing energy pathway. It felt like the pendulum had touched my fingertip (but it didn’t), and almost seemed like the gem was drawing towards the finger. I would move the pendulum to a different finger, it’d change direction and then I would start feeling that energy pathway again. Also - neutral is your thumb. The second finger is index finger, then middle finger, then ring finger and finished with pinky/little finger. Thank you! :) I’m definitely going to be leaning in to my journey more now.

Hi Moon, this is very fascinating and even more when I realized it is working so strongly with me. Is it possible though that even though my receiving hand is right, I feel very strong with my energy in my left hand - the pendulum is strongly reacting to my left hand - but not to my right hand. So I hold the pendulum in my right ( my receiving hand) and it shows the energy extremely fast on my left hand. Is that ok?

Not new to energy work but new to using a pendulum. Just was messing around with one after doing alot of energy work and went over Chakra and did throat, 3rd eye and crown. They moved counter clockwise a bit but when I got to crown Chakra it spun fast and to the left. Looking into more videos as to whT that measn. Heard it doesn't matter which direction. I learn that sometimes the pendulum works differently for different energies, so I would suggest asking a question that you know is true and see which way it swings and then ask a question that is not true and see which way it swings. I disagree with this--strongly. The way I was taught is that the thumb is neutral; the second or index finger is positive; the third finger is negative; the fourth or ring finger is positive (the finger we wear our wedding rings on--makes sense, right?); and the little finger is negative.

My pendulum swings back and forth over countries on the map where I haven't felt nice in real life and stays motionless over ones that I liked or where the locals liked me. It always does the same for every country I put it over, so I guess it can show me what countries would be positive for me to relocate to or visit and what ones I must avoid. 🙂 Does anyone use a pendulum over a map technique?

If it just reflects your beliefs, what is the point? Do we not use the pendulum to cut through our conscious beliefs to learn the truth about a matter that our beliefs are blocking or is confused about?
True, what’s the point of using a pendulum, so to affirm something you already know, I put my pendulum through a lot of test before I can trust. I will suggest you test your pendulum by asking someone to hide something somewhere you don’t have acknowledgement then ask your pendulum. I did and it worked. I believe it’s beyond our belief.

That is a good question. I believe that the pendulum is responding based on my energy and the energy around me, so I believe that if I truly believe in something, it is reflecting that, but perhaps it can be working differently for others.

For me, the pendulum is reading my energy now, not the future, cause energy can shift or change at any time, so I don't generally ask questions about the future because depending on what energy you are emitting now, it affects the future. good question. For me, it's always reflected my energy. For others, I have heard it reflects energies outside of them as well, so you have to decide what it's doing for you.

good question. Going vertically is YES and going horizontally is NO for me. place your other hand under the pendulum. I believe that the pendulum reflects my energy. I don't use it to speak to God, but others may do that. I use it to gage my energy, not to speak to God.
Before working with a pendulum you must cleanse it with sage. Then, you must state the source of your answers (your highest self). This is very important, because you don't want any negative energies tricking you. Also you should programme it with yes, no and maybe answers. How you formulate your question its very important too. Do not use "Should" or "Would" . Be as specific as you can.. It is in my best interest to trust.....(name of the person).....?

Thank goodness someone else out there knows the correct way. Every one can be different with how the pendulum responds. For me a yes is circular. maybe is left & right and no is forward & back. Ask the pendulum, give me a yes to see what it does and so on so you know the correct answers.

If your hips spread wide more than you extend out in front, it’ll be a boy. If you’re carrying more belly out front, it’s a girl. At least that’s how it’s gone in my entire mom’s family.
"Yes" and "No" will be different for everyone. And I believe you should check your yes and no answers every time you use the pendulum, because even your yes and no answers can change direction from one time to another.

I fell off my bed one day while I had been trying to self detox. I had some brain swelling and had seizures from a result of the fall and other things. I was “out of it" and pretty much comatose. I recently started listening to Abraham Hicks and basically that is what they talk about too how we are all just energy (our inner being) in a human body but when we transition (croak) we never leave, we are always everywhere and for that reason we can communicate with those beings always and forever. What other things were you shown?
Used pendulums also with just a thread and a ring. Helped me to detect that fresh milk was the cause of my unpleasant heartburns. Substituted it with almond milk, no more heartburns ever. This was 35 years ago. For myself, though, it turned out that using a biotensor (e.g. those by Professor Oberbach or most others -- I made my own and had them gold-plated) the response is immediate. I wondered if that is so because they are held with the whole hand, involving all fingers rather than just three. Eventually, the biotensor became superfluous when I discovered that my entire arm works like a biotensor.

I had just cleansed my pendulum before watching your video, I marked my fingers with positive and negative and asked if it was communicating with me, and lo and behold, it moved to answer yes. The best way for me is to ask the pendulum which direction is yes, no and neutral or maybe. You don't need to write on the hand but this idea is great, so great work! I use the pendulum to clear out negative energy from myself and also my home, business, etc. Counter clockwise to move out negative energy and it helps to talk out things when doing this and then clockwise, replacing positive energy. This is absolutely anatomically correct for reading fingers and thumb on the left hand.
You can also use the pendulam to rate the energy of what you put into your body. For example, swing it over lettuce or veggies and it swings circular. Move it over sugar or salt or cookies or soda pop like coke or anything with high fructose corn syrup and it moves side to side because of the energy. It works differently a little for each person because not all the same things are healthy or not healthy for each individual. Pretty cool and I use it anytime I eat or drink. Great party game lol😉👍🏼

While I try my best to maintain an open minded but skeptical perspective, I do believe that there is sound evidence for what is being demonstrates here, I don't think this woman is legitimate. She just strikes me as a snake oil salesmen. At 5:07 through maybe 6 - something the you can literally see her arm moving the pendulum around while she pretends to be amazed by the power of this pendulum. Keep a skeptical attitude people and don't let yourself get conned.
You should never have to pay someone else to gain access to any sort of "spiritual enlightenment" or knowledge.

When I was a kid, "The Amazing Kreskin" and the subject of E.S.P. (extra sensory perception) were at the peak of popularity. Kreskin put out a game that had a collection of props, one of which was a plastic pendulum that came with a card that you held the pendulum over. We had a lot of fun playing with it. Pendulums tie into another interest of my youth, namely, the dowsing rod. I would find a pair of copper wires, bend the ends to a right angle to form handles and play in the park looking for water. I guess I must have been a rather strange boy. I am a skeptic on such matters but the subject of esoteric energy still fascinates me.

This is Lori Bach. Moon, Thank you so much for producing this video! I've been using a pendulum for 10 years. It works wonders and the key is to be focused/centered when asking questions. I primarily use it for choosing food items, shopping for clothing and cleaning out my closets for starters. I highly advise against using it to gain personal information on people as the ego gets in the way of the reading. It's like when I read tarot card spreads for my own personal messages. Sometimes I see the message clearly and sometimes I don't due to my ego/"self" getting involved. There are times other people are needed to give us messages as they will give it from a clearer, detached perspective. You can also use the pendulum to find water sources (like a divining rod) and finding lost articles too. It takes training and patience to use it; however, when you know how to use it properly it is a tool you cannot live without!

Hi Moon! I just found your channel today when I was searching explanation of pendulums. I've never entertained or explored using a pendulum before because they sounded spookey. You explained it so simple and now a Pendulum is not a scary object anymore! I tried your technique, but I somehow did it slightly different and still had accurate results. I found an old chain with a crystal on it, sprayed it with sage and gave it intentions. It accurately responded to my name by moving in big circles so I presume that was for Yes. Then it went up and down for the incorrect name, so that was obviously No. For some reason, after each question, I said thank you and it would stopped moving. Sorry for the long message. People saying she is moving her hand/arm...we all have slight movement even when we think we are keeping still. If you are receiving energy via the pendulum you will notice that the pendulum vibrates and shakes and the point moves first, rather than the end attached to the chain. It's so fascinating to watch it connect with your energy as you raise or lower it over your other hand 🙂

Her arm was actually really still. Especially if you compare it to how much it’s moving.
I use a pendulum and yes she is moving her arm in the direction of the pedulum. The pendulum is not independant of you, the pedulum is moved by your own energy.
The pendulum turning on its own will cause an equal and opposite reaction. If your arm/hand/fingers are relaxed, your arm will react to the pendulum.

so if you believe yr boyfriend is cheating on you, then it would answer yes, even if he is not. if the pendulum answers your belief system then it's fair to say that your belief system could be wrong about his cheating. the pendulum could be answering your own suspicion that you yourself chose to believe in without actual evidence

This is why when you use the pendulum you should first ground, center and then connect to high self or source. I would also clear any obstacles and restrictions to High Self so you’re bypassing your conscious mind. The pendulum should be tapping into below your subconscious mind. omg! i tried a different ladies video on how to use pendulums and it didnt work. im like " this crap is fake" I then tried your suggestion. i wrote the positive and negative on my fingers with my homemade pendulum and it WORKED!!! im totally amazed omg!!! what about crystal healers when they hold the pendulum over someone elses chakras. how do you know the pendulum is reading the energy of the healer or the engery of the person laying down??
yes, that is a good question. I know that the healer uses it to read other people's energies. I am sorry, but my knowledge only extends to how the pendulum relates to me. It is hard for me to tell when someone is using it on me. I would use your instincts to determine this. If a healer says something to you and it doesn't make any sense to you, then perhaps the healer is using the pendulum wrong. If what the healer says makes sense to you, then they are probably using it right. Just like having good or bad doctors, you can have good or bad healers. Use your divine instincts with healers

Holy crap. I was super skeptical… but i literally experienced an obvious physical change / I had no doubt it was actually taking place and I could objectively feel it.
I haven’t found a way to work with all my crystals yet. Im having fun exploring. But I really am excited to keep experiencing and I’ll come back to your videos!
Anyway, I decided to try your suggestions (I just didn’t mark my hands with the + - o. So tried the polarity with my dominant hand (holding crystal pendulum chain in nondominant chain). I haven’t asked it questions or worked with it beyond that. So even if this is just a cool science experiment to show how ours bodies are charged and react to our environment… I’m blown away. I have a black onyx and the point seemed to almost have a magnet-feel for the finger tip I was hovering. I relaxed with my hand (instead of trying to be super still, but I also moved smoothly as I could). When I’d get to the next finger, it would make a very obvious slowing down, and then subtly start the other. direction as I started to get the electric humming pathway connection with the pendulum point and finger. Each finger experienced this pulling pushing sensations / and a gentle buzzing energy pathway. It felt like the pendulum had touched my fingertip (but it didn’t), and almost seemed like the gem was drawing towards the finger. I would move the pendulum to a different finger, it’d change direction and then I would start feeling that energy pathway again.
Also - neutral is your thumb. The second finger is index finger, then middle finger, then ring finger and finished with pinky/little finger.

Hi Moon, this is very fascinating and even more when I realized it is working so strongly with me. Is it possible though that even though my receiving hand is right, I feel very strong with my energy in my left hand - the pendulum is strongly reacting to my left hand - but not to my right hand. So I hold the pendulum in my right ( my receiving hand) and it shows the energy extremely fast on my left hand. Is that ok?

Not new to energy work but new to using a pendulum. Just was messing around with one after doing alot of energy work and went over Chakra and did throat, 3rd eye and crown. They moved counter clockwise a bit but when I got to crown Chakra it spun fast and to the left. Looking into more videos as to whT that measn. Heard it doesn't matter which direction. My Crystals answers for yes and no are opposite to yours, mine is back and forth NO circle YES and Thank You Crystal is it's cue to stop. I just got this yesterday for Christmas and it feels like an old friend, like part of me that was lost, sounds daft but it's how I intuitively feel

That is a great question. I learn that sometimes the pendulum works differently for different energies, so I would suggest asking a question that you know is true and see which way it swings and then ask a question that is not true and see which way it swings. I disagree with this--strongly. The way I was taught is that the thumb is neutral; the second or index finger is positive; the third finger is negative; the fourth or ring finger is positive (the finger we wear our wedding rings on--makes sense, right?); and the little finger is negative.

My pendulum swings back and forth over countries on the map where I haven't felt nice in real life and stays motionless over ones that I liked or where the locals liked me. It always does the same for every country I put it over, so I guess it can show me what countries would be positive for me to relocate to or visit and what ones I must avoid. 🙂 Does anyone use a pendulum over a map technique?

True, what’s the point of using a pendulum, so to affirm something you already know, I put my pendulum through a lot of test before I can trust. I will suggest you test your pendulum by asking someone to hide something somewhere you don’t have acknowledgement then ask your pendulum. I did and it worked. I believe it’s beyond our belief.

That is a good question. I believe that the pendulum is responding based on my energy and the energy around me, so I believe that if I truly believe in something, it is reflecting that, but perhaps it can be working differently for others.

For me, the pendulum is reading my energy now, not the future, cause energy can shift or change at any time, so I don't generally ask questions about the future because depending on what energy you are emitting now, it affects the future. I would do a meditation to cleanse your thoughts and emotion before doing the dowsing so you can enter with a more clean energy. What if you believe in something that’s not necessarily right or supported in the physical world? How do people use pendulum to pursue the truth if it’s only reflecting your energy? Would there be a higher self that the pendulum draws its energy upon?
good question. For me, it's always reflected my energy. For others, I have heard it reflects energies outside of them as well, so you have to decide what it's doing for you.

As for women..the movement shld be anti-clockwise while for the male is clockwise. Gender plays a role in determining the movement of the pendulum. Swinging forward/backward is neutral.
