Who's That Girl is one of those "So bad, its good" type of films to watch. Sure it was a flop, but the music...who couldn't resist such awesome 80s style pop that takes you back to a time you were born in that decade and didn't even know too much about Madonna, other than her earlier albums released at that time.
You can't even compare with the shit these kids listen to these days... this is a timeless classic along with many of her other greatest hits... a true phenomenon she was ! Plus drop dead gorgeous 😍

Of course, the movie 'Who's That Girl' totally bombed here in Australia, as I think it did everywhere, but the title track did pretty well in the charts. This song didn't do well and I only heard it once or twice on the radio. I liked it but must admit, didn't fully appreciate it. That is, until I saw her perform it live as part of the Blonde Ambition show, and it feckin' ROCKED!! I fully appreciated the song for what it is: a brilliant dance number that is pure Madonna genius!!

I heard that this movie did better in the UK at the box office than it did in the US. I live in the UK and I think it's a brilliant and very funny movie.

One of the best lines in the movie is when Griffin Dunne is on hospital bed going down hallway a nurse asked Madonna what his name is she answeres "Louden" nurse askes "Louden, what?" Madonna replies "Louden... clear"

That and when she says "my husband's having a heart attack, is this the way to the hospital" (she points to a "Dead End" sign on a wall) are my favorite scenes! Another favorite line is "Shopping? For four years?" "Yes, and I can't expect to go home empty handed, it isn't very nice!"
