- Today on CGOD VLOGS, we're going to be installing an eBay 1"-3" drop kit aswell as an Arlen Ness 1" lowered kickstand so my bike won't fall over. Enjoy!

Ok, nice horse, just a few things if I may. If you're going to use the hydraulic car jack, use a block of wood on the jack claw. On the left side, where the compressor is, that's dangerous in my opinion......zip tie those wires, tuck them also......REMEMBER SAFETY FIRST! AND PLEASE STOP WITH BOYS/BOYZ PLEASE! When you said guys, those few times, it sounds much better. GBY
Thanks for the video. I'm thinking of doing the same thing to my 06 Road King. I had a 87 FXR that I lowered 1.5 inches and I had to put a shorter side stand on it because otherwise it sat so straight up I was afraid someone would bump the bike and knock it over...
Yep I got an inch shorter kick stand for my softail now too

You bout to make me put a new kit on the back of my Vicla. My rear suspension is stock. But I’ve been thinking about an air ride system and center stand.
Haha thanks! With my setup since I have the air tank I won’t ever go to a center stand. If the seals in the electric valves fail they’ll let air seep into your suspension and lift the bike by itself. So just be careful, I’ve seen some setups that have a cutoff switch so it isolates the suspension to keep that issue from happening.

What kind of air ride switch do you have? Gotta link for it?
I've used lower links with my dirty air. But I've heard horror stories of shocks breaking due to taking away the proper angle of the shocks. Any issues?
So far no issues! I had it set to 2” lower and it would lay out on the tire, at 1” you can still roll the bike
Sweet ride. What tires are u using, front and back?
Front is a 120/70-21 and the rear is the stock 16” wheel with stock size tire. Honestly haven’t looked at rear tire size yet

It's been awhile, but I always just modified the stock stand....
How do you go about that? Lowered my 09 softail and can't find a kickstand for it.
If it needs to be shorter, cut a hunk out of it, then weld it back together. Then, if it's too ugly, paint it or have it powder coated. Done!

If it’s lowered I’m sure you could. Aftermarket seats usually drop your seat height down a bit also, I’m 5’7” and could flat foot just with a seat upgrade. With the rear being on air ride it’s very easy to maneuver

How does your bike ride since you put the air ride and since you add the bracket to drop it
It rode great but I have since took the lowering bracket off, I enjoy riding as low as possible and didn’t like rubbing the tire in the fender

Yo I got question for you I'm adding 21 to my ultra classic I have the lowering kit you have but I just want to drop rear not the front. I'm install shock locators in back but not front springs will that be a problem?
It shouldn’t be an issue but the 21” up front will raise the front a little and lowering the rear also might make the bike have some speed wobbles. I believe every bike is different so you’d just have to try it out and see how it feels
@@CGOD ok I plan on eventually getting get done but it'll probably be last honestly I don't want the wobble so probably get both front back done at once. Your bike is clean I almost bought a RK buy went with ultra classic instead better price and year

Ultra Classic got everything literally at flip of a switch bro. Well taken car of I got fishtails wheel few more chrome accent pieces

Motovlogs? Like riding videos? I have a GoPro to do stuff like that just haven’t done it since my last bike
U need a shop ,learn how to weld, grind, and machine, and move out of your momas house.
I had a shop when I graduated from high school, been welding and grinding ever since and I actually own the house myself.
